The events happening at the time were also heightening her loss of innocence, with wars and difficult situations being plentiful.

It can help you get a job, to get famous, or even being appreciated for what you did. Sometimes people don't even like or even try to be successful. Also successful is like a hard thing to explain or even do in certain situations.
A character that makes decisions that impact his life and the lives of others is Okonkwo. Okonkwo has constantly made decisions that affect his life and others, such as his family, mostly in a bad way. Decisions that Okonkwo has made that affected himself and other people are killing Ikemefuna when he was not supposed to, killing a clansman during Ezeudu 's funeral, and committing suicide after he killed the messenger who was sent from the white man to stop Okonkwo 's meeting. One bad decision that Okonkwo has made that affected his life and others is him killing Ikemefuna. Ever since Ikemefuna was sent to live with Okonkwo they had a close relationship and Ikemefuna even calls Okonkwo father.
One person’s failure may mean success to another. For many years, the environment we grow in, people tend to view progress in ways like having much wealth and being famous. The myth about success has been so rampant even in our advertisements and other marketing techniques as compared to the reality (Hines, pg7). Many people, however, tend to believe in the situation. Although owning a big house, becoming a president of United States like Barrack Obama among others can be a success for such individuals, this does not provide the real definition of success.
