When the animals looked outside they no longer recognized their surroundings and leaders. The had realized that they have been blind and could no longer tell the difference between man and pig. They had become indifferent. This was said by the narrator yet really explains the thoughts going through all the animals on the farm’s heads except the pigs.
Mistreatment Leads to Revolution: A Comparison of the Pullman Strike and “Animal Farm” One would probably never conder comparing a novel about talking animals rising up against the farmer to an actual historic event such as the Pullman Strike of 1894. There are many differences and similar connections that can be found between the Pullman Strike of 1894 and novel “Animal Farm” in the beginning before the strike and revolution took place, during, and after. The first connection that can be made between the Pullman Strike and “Animal Farm” can be found in before the uprisings took place. Before the Strike, the American economy was on an upward climb, the agriculture, railroad and mine industries were booming until the Depression of 1893, also known as the Panic of 1893 struck.

Napoleon is leader of the big group of animals and controls what happens on the farm.
During the Russian Revolution, Vladimir Lenin was obligated for changing Russia into the Soviet Union just as old Major tried to change Manor Farm into Animal Farm. Events and animals in the book are parallel to the events and people in the Russian Revolution. Animal Farm, which was originally named Manor Farm, is ran by Mr. Jones until the animals take charge. Mr. Jones takes poor care of the animals such as refusing to feed them. The animals decide to rebel against him and take charge of the farm.

I believe that part of the theme involving working diligently is in agreement with the Bible, but I do not believe that putting all your trust in your leaders is in agreement with the Bible because not all men are wise, and are capable of being tempted to take advantage of their power given to them. The main theme of the book was to put all your trust in your leaders and work diligently. An example of putting trust in your leader would be when the animals believe in the vision Old Major had for them to rebel and eventually own Manor Farm.
The animals are tired of Mr. Jones and how he treats them so they overrule him. Napoleon abuses the animals trust and uses his power for evil. Napoleon ends up changing everything in the farm. Many years pass and Mr. Jones also passes away. Boxer and Snowball become forgotten.
The fictional book Animal Farm, written by George Orwell, is about Mr. Jones’ farm of animals who rebel against him and make their own society. Although equal at first, the pigs slowly create a peerless government due to the malleable minds of the rest of the animals. I the end, the pigs have broken all of their originally set commandments and begin to act as humans at the dismay of all of the other previously equal animals. Three topics addressed in this amazing book are anthropomorphism, foreshadowing, and motif. To start, the first topic, anthropomorphism, is used the entire book, as the animals are the main characters.
