Why wake up, get dressed, and drive to school to get a high-quality education? With the advancements in technology, schools now offer Online, or Hybrid assisted classes for student to take from the comfort of wherever they are at. It gives those who do not have the means of going to the college another option to get a higher education. Some say online colleges are hard and not as efficient as traditional sit-down classes, but I believe they are the best path for the modern-day college students because they offer a more comfortable learning environment, provide a flexible schedule and help cost down on cost due to not having to transport back and forth to the college. For many college students getting up and making yourself go to school is the hardest part, online classes offer a learning environment from the comfort of your home. Being comfortable is a key part into learning, you must be free of distractions to really take in what you are learning. For some being in a class full of people is more of a distraction than anything, especially people who have issue like social anxiety, where in a class full of people they are so worried about how to interact they miss the learning aspect. Working a full-time job is hard enough as it is, trying to work while going to school can be trialing and difficult. While most jobs do not work around a set schedule, by taking online classes you do not have a set schedule, you can do your class work when you have the time. Same with having children, its difficult finding the time to go to school, because you must make arrangements for your child.
