Theodor Geisel was known to the world as Dr. Seuss, a supporter of the United States going into the war. There are numerous of themes in the political cartoon of Dr. Seuss political cartoons of Dr. Seuss. The themes he wrote were, “Go to War”, “Dr. Seuss Goes to War”, You, “Too, can Sink U-Boats”. When it came to isolationism, it was stated that Dr. Seuss, wasn’t known to attack isolationism, because he wanted America to stay out of the World War II. Isolationism quotes were “Get you Stich Bonnet here relieves Hitler Headache” and “Forget the terrible news you’ve at ease, in an ostrich head (Geisel, 1904-1991).
Seuss used the war as an inspiration for his mind-altering way to bring this issue into the public eye. The book was written near the middle of the war and even though it is Yooks vs Zooks, this rendition still rings true to what happened in the war. The book starts out in the same way that the war did, each population thinking that their way was how it should be; for the Soviet Union and United States, it was Communism vs Anti Communism, but for the Yooks and Zooks, it was butter side up or butter side down. This comparison shows how Dr. Seuss thought the whole idea of the war was unwise enough to parallel it with something as absurd as whether or not to butter your bread on the top or bottom. Dr.Seuss’s use of imagery, symbolism, and allegory really ties the whole story together in a nice bow.
The musical Seussical the Musical was a jovial experience that made many including me reminiscence the times when we read Dr. Suess. The creative sets, colorful costumes, and the acting skills brought Dr. Seuss 's books alive. I truly enjoyed the aspect of joining Dr. Seuss books and plots, like Gertrude McFuzz to create one plot and the inclusion of The Cat in the Hat in many of the scenes. The musical captured the ambience of the books, specifically Horton Hears A Who. The dedication of those in the musical shined from their eminent acting skills and their ability to display the character they portrayed.
The Sneetches in the Dr. Seuss short film were very self conscious. They wanted to be the best or at least feel like the best. The Sneetches at first were either star bellied Sneetches with a green star on their stomachs, or plain bellied Sneetches with no star. The ones with the star were exclusive and would not let the plain bellied Sneetches do anything with them. The plain bellied Sneetches were jealous and the first chance they could buy a star on their belly they did.
In the poems “A Barred Owl” by Richard Wilbur and “The History Teacher” by Billy Collins, both poets portray how different explanations to children pan out. Both poems describe the speaker being dishonest to one or multiple students, however, one is more of a little white lie while the other is a lie on a much bigger scale. The first poem utilizes personification and humor to coax a child back to sleep by easing her fears. The second poem applies homonyms and hyperbole to maintain the innocence of a room full of students. Through the use of these different literary techniques, the poets are able to express how the adults provide an explanation for children.
In Lord of the Flies there is a war between civilization and chaos. The side of chaos is Jack’s side and the civil side is Ralph’s side. Jack’s side has no hope for civilization, there is just chaos because all they want to do is eat, sleep, kill and repeat. In the end chaos takes over the island, but there is hope for civilization.
Dr. Seuss uses imagery and allegory to describe that you should keep an open mind about new experiences and never judge a book by it's cover. Throughout the story Sam and the character have an interesting friendship. In the story the main character compares the eggs to fear.

Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities. (Dr.Seuss)” Dr.Seuss had looked at the world through a different perspective and wrote his stories in that world. He brightened lives with his creation from his world while facing issues in the real world.

Is it sad that there is only one example of genuine love in The Great Gatsby? The morals back in the 1920s were downright awful. Most wealthy people back then just drank and partied all day and all night. As a result of their wrongdoings, many problems arose in the novel.
The narrator got another cat after this and became even more insane in the way he felt about this black cat.
When first reading George Orwell’s Animal Farm, one might assume it to be a simple narrative about Farm Animals. However, through closer analysis, you begin to see the allegorical connections and satire of the work. By drawing parallels to certain major events and individuals from the Russian Revolution, Orwell is able to provide a political commentary about the harsh conditions caused by the Revolution. In George Orwell 's Animal Farm, he uses Napoleon, Snowball, and Mr. Jones to show the allegorical connections, as well as its satirical motives.
The conflict between Ralph and Jack and the fears of the children have conjured up. I think I understanding the main idea of the Author wants to tell us, which is the importance of power, civilization and the villainous aspects of humanity. Although this is a sad story. I really enjoy reading this book because the Author had used a lot adjective, adverbs, and phrase to describe the settings, characters, and some significance objects, to metaphor today's
III. b) Opportunities of Skill-Based Learning in the Novel The Curious Incident of The Dog in the Night-time The novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time appeals to a wide range of readers. It allows to develop empathy for people who are living with a version of autism.
The narrator is confined to his path of madness and drunkenness. The narrator’s irritation gets worse, and he attempts to kill the new cat. His wife interjects, and the narrator kills his wife in anger. He chooses to hide his wife’s body in the walls of the cellar.
