1. How is an Osteopathic Physician different than a Medical Doctor (MD)?
The Osteopathic Physician is internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics and etc. Osteopathic Physician does a primary care closely with a patient and diagnoses the illness base on patient’s lifestyle and medication. The Osteopathic Physician differs from a Medical Doctor because isn’t mainly focusing on treating patients from injury or illness, but they work closely with patients, ensuring the patient gets treated in the most quality, accurate and preventable ways. The DO is strived to help patients to be truly healthy in mind, body and spirit and not on the physical part. While, MD focus on treating patient according to the illness without working with patient with other area such as patient lifestyle.
