1. Provide support for the idea that our movements are frequently performed without our awareness.

I believe that our movements are performed without awareness. I believe this dates back to Sigmund Freud and his beliefs. Freud had described the levels of the mind and compared it to an iceberg, describing our unconscious mind and our mental processes that we are aware of, like being thirsty and drinking water. Although, we also have mental processes we are unaware of. Our preconscious mind has ‘tricked’ us into knowing certain things and not bringing it to our conscious mind until its needed. For example, people who have cell phones know their phone number, but we don’t walk around repeating the number, we simply wait until it’s needed to find the information in our mind to recite the number. Some information to support the findings involves a study from The University of Cambridge, four researchers had stated “First the context: Many natural systems exhibit fractal organization and behavior. A fractal is a branchlike structure. Fractals are called "fractals" because they exist in fractional dimensions. Because they are so complex, with huge numbers of tini tiny branches, trees never quite reach three dimensions. Essentially, fractal systems have many opportunities for growth, change and re-organization. Yet they also are very robust. They maintain their coherence; they hold together well, even under tough circumstances. They are balanced in this respect, between order and chaos. They are simple, yet also very complex. This balance is often referred to as "criticality," thus the title of the article: "Broadband Criticality." And the term "self-organized" is often added because systems tend to become fractal on their own, simply by putting a lot of system components together and allowing them to exchange information.” (Pincus,
