Inpatient discharge education: should nurses be concerned about patients understanding of instructions?

Background. Eighteen articles related with this topic were published between 2010-2015. The literature shows a lot of articles that insist on the significance of improving the discharge process.
D. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to analyze the information contained in the discharge instructions and determine if it is understood by the patient. This project intends to interpret all the data collected and determine how much involved are the nurses on this process.
E. Method. The method for the study was thematic analysis, articles published between 2010-2015 and related with discharge processes were considered. Also, this articles should contain analysis and discussions focused on the understanding of discharge instructions by patients. The electronic databases searched as data sources include Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), MEDLINE, Educational Resource Information Center (ERIC), and PubMed.
F. Sampling. Discharge instructions articles-related were used as a sample.
G. Data Collection. Procedures and strategies used in order to obtain acquired information. Discharge instructions articles-related were carefully reviewed and detailed information was
