Adversity helps people by giving them opportunities to grow and face their challenges, which can impact the world in its history and culture. Throughout history, many now well-known people have helped it change, mainly for the better of it. One of the prominent Activists throughout history was Rosa Parks, the woman who refused to give up her seat to a white person. Then after getting escorted out of the bus and getting placed in jail, she started movements all over the world for African Americans to be treated fairly and equally. One example would be how generation Z has created a safe and comfortable feeling for people that are part of the LGBTQ+ community. Over the years, many people in the LGBTQ+ community have been poorly treated by older generations that are not as accepting. In contrast, generation Z has been openly armed to accept those that are a part of the community. Admittedly, not all people are as accepting as others are but each day we are trying to make it more comfortable for future generations. Another example would be Dylan Mulvaney, one of TikToks’ most popular tiktoker that is a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Throughout their journey of becoming a girl, they have gotten so much hate for being a part of the LGBTQ+ community but they did not let the hate get to them. Although there has been hate, there has also been huge support by generation Z, so much so that Dylan was able to meet with President Joe Biden recently and were able to talk together about trans rights and making the country more LGBTQ+ friendly.
