The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) currently holds the work of many talented art faculty members. In a gallery full of amazing work, Ovidio Giberga compels attention. This work is titled "Penumbra". The gallery piece was first visited on October 19, 2015, and through research, there was not a date found to when this piece was created. The goal of Penumbra is to draw viewers into a state of rest or thought. Although this piece is unique in style to all of the other pieces, it brings the audience members eyes to both the clouds and themselves. There is an overwhelming influence of the Spanish language in the UTSA Main Campus art gallery. Due to this influence, if one did not know what "penumbra" meant, one would assume that, at first glance, "Penumbra" is a Spanish word; it is not. It is an Astronomy English term. The work is forged through soda fired porcelain and steel. There is not an exact view which to witness this object. It is three dementia. There is steel silhouette on the ground of a human being covering the floor about one by three feet. Above this person is steel bars at a slight angel. This leads the viewers eyes up toward the cloud that is looming slightly over the silhouette's head. The cloud is not directly over the shadow, just slightly in front of it. This alludes towards a dreamy inspired state of the work. The cloud is white with dark blue lines running through the sides.
