In the Jewish exodus times there was a great Egyptian king by the name of Rameses. He was a great architectural creator. I will be comparing the difference between Shelly’s poem titled “Ozymandias” and smith’s poem also titled “Ozymandias”. The poems subjects are different. Shelly’s poem is about the great king Rameses vainly proclaiming his greatness while smiths poem is stating that the king is still vainly proclaiming his greatness but a hunter encountering a ruined London is introduced, saying that great power can ruin over time. The poems imagery is different. Shelly’s poem shows you an image in your head of a cruel king vainly proclaiming his greatness of a ruined kingdom. Smith’s poem shows the same king but also shows the society
