P.C. Richard & Son is the largest American chain of appliance, electronic, and computer stores. They are a privately owned and family operated corporation. They have locations throughout the northeast United States and their online presence allows them to provide services on a broad scale. The company was founded on the principles of "Honesty, Integrity, and Reliability," which it's customers still trust and expect today.

The history of this company spans over a century. In 1909, P.C. Richard opened his first hardware store in Brooklyn, New York. He taught his son A.J. about his business and they worked together to expand their inventory to include electric irons. The electric iron started what would become the appliance division of the company. By 1932, the inventory had branched out to include toasters, washers, refrigerators, ranges, and radios in the expanded and relocated hardware store in Queens, New york. By 1935, a service department had been added to the booming family hardware empire, customers could now have many of their needs met in one place. The 1940's and 50's saw major expansion within the company. They opened multiple locations throughout Queens, a new showroom in Cambria, and their first drive-in appliance repair location.during the later half of the century, expansion continued. the company now has 66 locations and has their products available online. …show more content…
