This past Wednesday at Gifford Pinchot State Park, a 2,338-acre park in York County Pennsylvania, it was a warm but windy day. The park is home to a manmade lake, and manmade infrastructure is visible throughout the area. Because of the recent rainfall, parts of the dock systems, paved trails, picnic areas, and cement lip of the pond were underwater several inches. It was evident that this kind of water rise picked up more than leaves and lawn fertilizer, because we observed a large amount of plastics water bottles, wrappers, and worm containers floating near the edges of the lake. The parking area and main buildings had been landscaped some time ago, as there were many evergreen trees (white pine, cedar, hemlock, and red pine) that were not uniform with the rest of the forested area that appeared to be made up mostly of hardwood.

It is one of the most productive natural systems in North America, and highly recognized by the state, federal and international organizations for its pristine water quality and unaffected estuarine habitats (ANERR, 2008). Apalachicola Bay was formed by the deltaic processes of the Apalachicola River, which is a relatively unpolluted alluvial system.
Do you think that the decision of the federal government not making Providence Canyon a national park is the right decision to make ? I truly believe that Providence Canyon should be made into a national park. Providence Canyon is located in southwest Georgia 's Coastal Plains region near the Alabama / Georgia border . A national park by the border of Alabama and Georgia would attract a lot of people.

The first 7 houses were connected and inside were stone dressers, beds, cabinets, and seats. The 8th house was slightly different. It was divided into sections that led archeologists to believe it may have at one time been a workshop.
“Mammita’s Garden Cove” by Cyril Dabydeen tells the story of a protagonist Max, who demonstrates nostalgia of an island he once lived on whilst living in urban, downtown Toronto. The author repeats the image of feet kicking into the ground on two separate occasions, “feet kicking hard ground” (line 4) and “His heels pressed
Eden Gardens State Park deserves to more well-known throughout the local community, and to all visitors to the area because of the overall impact the Wesley’s family. Homes are incredibly private places, and are made with places to hide one’s life, with each room having different levels of security. The first two room the stranger visits, the kitchen and the dining room, are rooms typically regarded as a rooms made for guests and are typically designed to be big enough to fit lots of people in. So it would make sense that the mother and father are quite alright with hosting a visitor in their kitchen and dining room. The third room they visit is the living room, a slightly more secure room in the home. This is where the family lives.
Bedrooms are a repeated symbol used in Anderson’s Speak that expresses the struggles with establishing identity. An early example of symbolism involving bedrooms occurs when Melinda criticizes her room for not matching her personality. Just after Melinda rushes up to her room, she is reminded of how out of place and strange her bedroom is. Melinda thinks, “My room belongs to an alien. It is a postcard of who I was in fifth grade.
