What exactly is the “American Dream”? The American Dream is a set of ideals that say through hard work you can achieve success with little to no obstacles on your path. It's also a concept of living in a nice house with a white picket fence along with your significant other and your children, a girl and a boy. The definition of the American Dream by James Truslow Adams in 1931 was "life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement". Although I have to ask, is the American Dream fact or fiction, a reality or a dream? Many immigrants migrate to the USA to get a chance at the American Dream. They come to the land of the free inorder to make a successful living for themselves and their families.
