An aspect of the book that I found fascinating was a statement Wright wrote in chapter three entitled People Who Care for Creation. Wright wrote, “it was be easy to forget, but we were human beings before we became Christians, and we don't stop being human being when we do become Christian. And God will hold us accountable for our humanity as much as for our Christianity.” (Page 49) I believe that this statement is something that humanity tends to forget. We are called to be human, which essentially means we are called to live into the basic human functions and needs we were created to posses. God created us to be humans, which means we are called to honor the fact that God created humanity to not be impervious to aspects of of out humanity,
