In the Article "Performance-Enhancing Drugs Should Be Legalized” Stephen Wang explains why people think that P.E.D.s should be legalized in sports. Wang also talks about how if seven different athletes were tested to see which ones were on performance-enhancing drugs, more than likely, they would almost all come back clean. Most common P.E.D.s are non-traceable in the body after a short period of time. The reason is thanks to the ones who have come out and talked publicly about it. Just like behind the big screen where there is hidden truth, there is one in sports to. Athletes who have admitted to using say that usually the only person you can find performing long, tiresome acts in sports will be the ones that are not using drugs. Wang is trying to convince us that these drugs are a good thing, that is almost used by every athlete. While providing some great points, there was also the fact that not every athlete uses them, but they end up in last if they don't use them. It's contradicting and clearly posing a threat with health problems. Ranging from heart, lung, and many more dangerous problems.And this is all thanks to them becoming addicted, needing of these things that make them “better” athletes.
