In Lord of the Flies, a group of British boys ended up stranded on a deserted island after their plane crashed. After establishing Ralph as the leader of the boys, he attempts to establish order by assigning roles to everyone and a system in which the holder of the conch may speak during an assembly. However, Jack, the antithesis to Ralph, sets up a hunting culture and disregards the use of the conch, preferring to speak openly, and sets up an authoritarian rule. In both of these groups, both establish right or wrong based on what is deemed beneficial to either Ralph or Jack. While Ralph seeks to uphold democratic values, opting to minimize the amount of time on the island, Jack looks for a more permanent solution through brutality and total power.
I am also passionate about my friends because if i didn't have them school would be pretty boring. I like lacrosse and almost every sport. I like all kinds of music but hip hop is my favorite. All types of boardgames and videogames but my favorite is video games that have sports in it. I don't really like to read or listen to books because they are hard to stay attached to.
Cross country and weightlifting were two extra sports I loved to be a part of because I got to meet new people and take part in an individual type sport. My main sport is softball. I have been a varsity captain all four years of my high school career and I also have gained many achievements through this sport. My varsity sports are my favorite extra- curricular projects. High school extra- curricular activities are not only important to students but also important to the high school in general.

The activity I enjoy outside of my classes is Lacrosse. I started playing Lacrosse in third grade by joining the Farmington Youth Lacrosse team. Lacrosse is something I care about because it is something I am good at and enjoy playing. I also like being on a lacrosse team because it helps me work together with other people and collaborate on group projects in school. What keeps me playing lacrosse is there is always something you can do better and trying to be the best you can be is fun and challenging.

For most of my childhood, the sport of baseball was the one activity I loved above anything else. Nothing could compare to the exhilarating freedom and satisfaction of bolting full speed around the bases, determined to steal 2nd, beating the "Throwdown" by a fraction of a second. The massive dust cloud kicked up by my cleats and the thunderous boom of the umpire shouting, "Safe!" made me feel empowered. It was in moments like those, when I was in control of my own fate, choosing whether to stay or to run, whether to play it safe or to risk failure, that I learned one of the most important lessons of my life.

Although it is a very long, time consuming, and a process of making hard decisions, there are a few steps that can make it easier. The journey will be different for every athlete therefore athletes can not follow a guide telling them step by step what to do. The process of getting a coach's attention may be difficult but with determination it can be very rewarding.
Soccer, many people love soccer, it is a magnificent sport beloved from all around the globe. Did you know that according to a FIFA estimate, there are 265 million football players worldwide and over 5 million referees, or 4% of the world's population2. One of the many reasons that I love soccer is because I'm excellent at it. Being good at a sport is one of the many reasons that you can love a sport.

How Competitive Sports is Beneficial Children at a young age have a lot of energy, To solve that problem, they are sometimes put into a competitive sports team. Many will disagree and say that this is unacceptable , while others say that it is beneficial. Children should be able to be put in sport teams because most children play sports as a passion,and it not only benefits them with being athletic and healthy, It's also favorable to children because only its a game, it also teaches children morals, and life lessons.
