Personal Issues Of The Cost Of Education

A personal issue is an issue that pertains to a single person, the issue is a localized. A public issue is a problem that affects a group of people, the public issue can easily become a cause where many people stand on the same side of a problem and attempt to change something in a variety of ways including, public protests, boycotts, and rallies. Much like a public issue becomes a cause a personal problem can become a public issue when enough people share a problem.
Being a freshman in college I have been put into a world of firsts, I no longer live my parents, I now have a roommate, I can no longer make whatever I want for dinner, I have to share a bathroom with people I hardly know and I have to pay for things I never thought about while

This price may include tuition, housing, and meals, but the price does not cover everything. Students still but bedding, fridges, microwaves, hygiene products and of course textbooks. The exorbitant amount of money angers not just me, but other students in the same predicament as me, students that have graduated and are still paying off loans and especially parents. The issue of the cost of education is not ignored. There are constant arguments of the price in homes, schools and Senate floors. However being able to at cut down on the cost of some of the “extra” fees would help at least a little

A student run site in which students who have previously taken a course can share what textbooks and other materials (such as books, notebooks, and calculators) are actually a necessity. Students could verify others claims once posts are written and the material could be updated easily. The creation of a common website could also make trading, sharing or selling textbooks easier and allow students to gain access to cheaper materials. The site, while not being able to tackle the tough cost of tuition, housing, and meals; would allow students to cut down on some costs and help others who have struggled in the past.
With a site like this, there would, of course, be some issue, some may find it entertaining to lie about taking courses and what materials are needed for them. However to combat the issue students would verify that they actually took the course, and other students who have taken the course could verify other students responses and the response with the most verifications could easily be seen as the most accurate. Obviously some text books are needed to complete the course, however using the site students could share places to find cheaper versions of books or online
