The past four years, I was placed on one of the most prestigious all-star cheerleading teams in the nation. Due to my team being well known for winning numerous national championships and world championships, I was in for a rude awakening. My first year on the team I was teeny tiny because I was still in eighth grade. But, my last three years I hit puberty and I started to become “bigger”, not bigger in the sense of fat but just bigger in general.
People change. Whether it's a change in appearance, personality, or lifestyle. Sometimes people change because of an event in their life or sometimes people change and they don't even realize it. Change is a progressive thing and it doesn't happen overnight. For some people it takes a whole unexpected journey that they get dragged along in.
Liberal traditions are significantly rooted in the argument for open borders. The concept of open borders can not be correctly understood without studying its liberalistic ways. John Rawls is a theorist whose ideas against immigration revoke the liberalism that surrounds open borders. However, the three thinkers who support open borders as liberalism are Joseph Carens, John Mill, and Sheyla Benhabib.
There is also when you go to the gym and lose weight that's a good change also. It is helpful to change things if you don't like them. I myself have changed a lot over the years. “Don’t be afraid to change. You may lose something good, but you may gain something better." (Unknown). This is a quote that shows that change isn’t all that bad. This is also shown in the short story Pancakes by Joan Bauer, when the main character changes and because of it becomes a better friend and more enjoyable to be around.
People will always change through lessons, experiences, events, or just over time, but it will always happen. “You're always you, and that don't change, and you're always changing, and there's nothing you can do about it.” (Neil

Boom thunder echoed across the sky right before a blinding flash of lightning. I trudged along the walking path from the P.A.C.E. bus station to school. Rain pelted me, and I could only hope that I would make it to the school soon. It was the first day of my freshman year, I had straightened my unruly curly hair; ,y mom had ironed the tan khaki pants that I wore. By the time I got to school, both my hair and carefully ironed pants were completely soaked.

Everyone has an experience that forces them to open their eyes, exit childhood and enter adulthood. For some people this experience is one they relish, for some people this experience is one they do not always care to think about, but for everyone this experience is one they can never forget. When I was twelve years old my life turned upside down. My parents had just decided to terminate their marriage and before I knew it our family was also in financial turmoil. I was absolutely devastated.
Korean is my mother tongue. I find not a lot of Korean nurses or nurse practitioners at hospitals in Bay Area. For example, there are no Korean physicians or NP around my area, so my parents used to drive 25 minutes to see a Korean doctor. The doctor, however, is now moved to another state. My parents have to have an interpreter when they see their current nurse practitioner.
I love to win. Weather it be a soccer game, a rowing race, or a band competition. I always strive to be the best. This intertwines with school as well, setting the curve for a test or being used as an example for future projects. In the past four years I have won second in state for Stanton River Bank Rowing (SRB) Girls Junior eight plus, placed in state competition three times for Fleming Island High Golden Eagle Marching band, and received varsity letters from both schools.
Decisions It’s been about three months since I started saving up for a tractor. My dad said that a tractor was one of the best things that he ever bought. He said it was great because I didn’t have to be sixteen to drive it,or I didn’t have to have a drivers, lisens to drive it on the road. One morning my dad was on his computer looking at tractors.
I never imagined my life would turn out this way. Seven years old everything felt seamless. I was blessed with two parents who adored me, two older siblings who would do anything for me. I did not see any trace of a dead end road. By the time I was nine I realized everything in my life was changing, my family was not genuinely a family to any further extent.
I had someone whom I once thought was a friend abandon me because he was embarrassed at the fact that people thought him and myself were an item. In a way I felt he stopped talking to me because of his own insecurities, he had a journal that he would write his feelings in and one day he left it behind in class, unfortunately some kids got ahold of it and began to make fun of him and call him names. The next thing I know, he was taking his frustrations out on me and told everyone not to be my friend. From that point on I was often teased about the little things apart of me and although I was raised to have tough skin the things people would say and the way they would act towards me began to hurt. I became so self-aware
