A. Business Concept Instead of scheduling the traditional four 15 week courses that meet 3 hours a week each, I would offer courses in one month intervals. This would consist of one class meeting for three weeks at three hours a day, five days a week and the fourth week being considered a transitional break. The fourth week would not be considered a “finals” week. Any required final exam would need to be taken on the third Friday of the course (the last class day) during the normal class period. This would leave the transition week open for teachers to input final grades.
I think this unit was great and in all honesty should have been longer. We covered so many important topics that should be discussed with High School students to prepare them for the future. I think it helped me open up more to things that I didn’t really know about beforehand. The discussions that we had in class were also another very helpful tool that we should have had more of during the unit. I definitely had some preferences on the books that we read this semester.
Hello again, I am so sorry I’ve emailed you so many times but I would really really like to meet one on one with Gerardo. My initial meeting that was scheduled for February 14th, I had to cancel due to being very sick and not wanting to spread it to him or his family. Are there any open slots? God bless, Rachal Adent
Crackle, pop the fire sounded as I placed new logs on top of the hot embers. This was the fire the children of my village sat around and told stories before they went to sleep, and tonight was no different. All of their eyes stared at me expectantly as they waited for me to start telling them a story. “Two Rivers Running, tell us the Story of the Great Battle again,” the little ones asked. All eyes were on me as I sat down next to them, everyone silent as I told them the story of the Great Battle.
I have been doing some thinking about our conversation a few days ago and have concluded that I will take you up on the offer! I just sold my old bike and now have some money left over that I can use to pay for those seminars. I am going to see how soon I can get this done, I am going to look at the dates and send my form in. I will keep you posted on the status of things as they get processed.
Nature is commonly defined as the outdoors, what separates the manmade structures from the wilderness. However, after a quick search, more intriguing definitions appeared like “humankind’s original or natural condition” (Merriam-Webster) and “reality, as distinguished from any effect of art” (Dictionary.com). While these definitions don’t fit the conventional definition of nature, they introduce a concept of purity and reality apart from clouded confusion that life can bring. Chief Bromden in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest certainly experiences a rift from nature during his stay in the mental ward through the fog early on in the story. However, a reconnection with both definitions of nature, through McMurphy and the fishing trip, bring him back to reality and help him realize that he could break from his
Fee-for-service (FFS) and capitated reimbursement schedules are two distinct models used in healthcare to determine payment for services rendered. With the FFS payment method, services are unbundled and health care providers are paid for separately for each individual service performed. On the other hand, capitation is a quality-based payment model in which health care providers are paid a predetermined, set amount of money to covered the approximated cost of services provided for a specific patient per period of time. There are advantages and disadvantages to either model which I will discuss below. Fee-for-service (FFS)
The students were very much involved in the learning process during this video, and were able to draw conclusions on their own. I like that they were rewarded for their positive behavior and how creative movie minutes are! Bedley also did a wonderful job at maintaining the classroom during group activities. The class was always on task and was able to come up with multiple options to reach consensus.
As a kid, me and my family used to take trips around the U.S. every three to two years. The first I can remember was the time we went to chicago. Me, and my brothers looked off the 22nd floor in wonder. Except for Briar, my oldest sibling, who was indeed deathly afraid of heights. I focused on a grand carnival in the distance, filled with light and colors that could catch any nine year old 's eye.
previously to st. Benedict 's, I never really receive a good religious education. My school was not Catholic, so, no religion class there. I did attend Sunday school, but, it wasn 't as good as the religion class and that I have now. It is more in depth of what our religion is all about and I love getting to learn more about my religion.
I defiantly enjoyed this class, it was a breath of fresh air from other classes and there were a lot of great movies shown. I really enjoyed the movies from this class; many of them were some that I have wanted to see but have never gotten the chance. Also, this class also gave me a lot of new movies that I now need to add to my long list of movies I would like to see. Some movies I especially liked were Fences, The Normal Heart, Singing in the Rain, and The 39 Steps. Out of those four I think that Fences is a movie that needs to be shown to future semesters.
With a grimacing look on my face and my hands numbed behind my back wrapped in tighten handcuffs , I was heading to Polk County jail. The blond haired spring-chicken rookie police officer missed the first turn but we were surely on our way towards Bartow ,Fl stopping 2 miles away we stopped at what he called a subdivision located in Inwood Florida prepared for the consequences, i held my head high walking into the rather redundant, freezing Shrieff’s office while I was being searched and stripped of my shoes and socks I noticed a rugged filth stench in the air gruesome like a middle school bathroom but it all honesty that was the very least of my worries. Afterwards I was put in a temporary cell with some fellow freshly booked inmates you could
I along with my family moved to Canada in 2004, this was the biggest and happiest day of my life. I had great expectations for my future; since living in Pakistan, I understood that Canada was a land of opportunity. Unfortunately, due to the earthquake in Pakistan on October 8th , 2005, we had to move back to Pakistan since we had lost members of our family as well. The move back to Pakistan at that devastating time was very hard for myself and my family. My father enrolled me to a school in Pakistan since we were going to live there now.
"Sometimes we need someone to simply be there. Not to fix anything, or to do anything in particular, but just to let us feel that we are cared for and supported." I wish that I had that "someone." I'm always that person for someone else, but when it comes to me, where are those people that I need to show me that I am cared for and supported?
The small class sizes allow students to get personalized attention and made the transition into the college setting much smoother.
