One of the positives of Missouri Southern State University are the classes. Classes at MSSU are relatively small, averaging about 20-30 students per teacher. There are many colleges and universities that fit the career choice I plan to achieve as i get older, but Oakland Community College is the best fit for me. One of the reasons why OCC is the best college for me is because of all the advantages that apply in terms of the campus itself. Another reason that I chose this college is because of how the classes are size wise, when the classes are, and also because you can attend classes at any of the five campuses when you apply at one campus. The small class sizes are extremely valuable because I know that I will not be a lost voice in a class of 200. That ensures me the chance to have my questions explained and answered. At the University of Findlay, the student to teacher ratio is 16:1 (“Fast Facts”).
This has several benefits as a student. You get to know all your classmates and your professor knows you by name. In a small class you have more opportunities for participation, whether is with a question or a comment. Both are very important during the learning process. Also, when your professor or instructor knows you chances are that they are there to help you understand the material, and concepts instead of just evaluating you with a test and see you fail.
The target audience will be people of all walks. This range from high school students are about graduate to the elderly in society. I would utilize so many ways to reach the larger audience. The internet has penetrated every social life, to the point that not a day goes by without someone browsing through the internet. Social media will be my first outlet.
Having a growth mindset matters to me. My engineering professor introduced this concept to me early in my community college education.
