Located in Terre Haute Indiana is Indiana State UNiversity. Living in an area near terra haute could help with the price. Living off campus can be cheaper than living on campus. Since it isn't a private school it isn’t overly expensive. Living on campus cost around $18, 708. The tuition there cost around $8,216; the books cost around $1,110. “CollegeSimply.” Non-degree programs are also offered there as well. Furthermore Indiana State University isn’t extremely large. Which can be a good thing. When schools are smaller students will have smaller classes. When students have smaller classes it will be easier to ask the teachers questions. They have around 10268 undergraduates. Only 42.5% students Graduate from Indiana State University. The school is known for offering over 100 majors for undergraduates. Non-degree programs are also offered there as well.
Additionally Living on campus at ISU can be convenient for students. When they live on campus they have easy access to the centers that are on campus. “Residence Halls.”It also makes it easier for when the students have classes. They have thirteen different residence halls there on the campus. All the residence halls have staff that are there all the time. They are there to assist the students when they need help. In elementary education they offer bachelor of arts and bachelor of science. Students would be able to teach grades k-6 once they have completed all the things that are they are required to take. The student will also have field work. They will be able to go to a school and teach for half a semester. When they are doing this they are getting a grade for it. One way that they are promoting people to be in the field of education is by saying that in the next 10 years there will be a need for teachers. “Elementary Education (B.A., B.S.).” At Indiana State University students are required to take many different literature classes to major in teaching English. To teach English in in middle school or high school students are required to take British literature, writing, American Literature, World Literature, English Language, Multicultural Literature, and Literary Analysis. They are required to have teaching experience as well. They can gain their teaching skills by being in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Bayh College of Education. Students there also have the opportunity for University’s Honors Program. They could have a full academic year in over 56 countries. “English Teaching (B.A.,
