Choosing between different colleges can be extremely difficult. So many different factors come into play that it seems impossible to make a right or wrong answer. Everything from tuition costs to the different majors offered can sway my decision from one college to another. I think that with the decision being between The University of Cincinnati and The Ohio State University my odds of being happy either way are very high because of the fact that both colleges have majors that I’m interested in and both have very close tuition/room and board costs. Both schools offer similar majors, so if I do end up going to one college over the other, I should be able to find a good major that is interesting to me. One of the main reasons I’m leaning more towards going to Ohio State is because the tuition cost is about $10,037 and the room and board cost is around $11,666 (“Undergraduate Admissions”). According to both of the sites that I looked at, Ohio State’s tuition and room and board prices are lower than Cincinnati’s which is the reason it is one of the main pros of going to Ohio State over Cincinnati. Ohio State also has more majors available that I might be interested in. They have English, Entomology, Evolution and ecology and zoology available for undergraduate students (“Undergraduate Admissions”). The Columbus campus is also much closer than the Cincinnati campus, so it would be much easier for me to go home more often. The main Ohio State campus is about 1.5-2 hours from Findlay (“Undergraduate Admissions”). Another good thing about Ohio State is that the campus is much larger than the Cincinnati campus, so there will probably be more clubs to join or other activities to take part in. One negative thing about Ohio State is that it has an average ACT score of 28 and an average GPA of 3.75, so it will be a lot harder to get into than it would be to get into Cincinnati (“Undergraduate
