Personal Narrative: Captain American Shield

When I was a kid, I didn 't really get that many toys for Christmas or my birthday. I had some toys. The only one one I would choose out of them is a Captain America shield that shoots out disk and you have targets that you can hit drop distance away. The place I got the the Shield was at Target and it was the newest Toy out so there were only like a couple left in the store. When I saw the Toy I begged to my parents to buy it, but they didn 't listen.

Then when we were walking around I realized that my birthday was coming soon like in 10 days so I used that to my advantage. I asked them to my the Shield for an early birthday present and it worked. When I got home I ripped the box like a kid A on Christmas Day and there it was the newest improved Captain America Shield. After I ate a snack I set up the targets so I can hit them with my disk. It has been one year when I got this Shield and it has never bored me. The reason it never bored me because I loved shooting at the targets and my parents even though yell at me to stop. Another reason I didn’t get bored of it because when my my friends come over we would have a contest who could knock down the most targets in one go. It would be a really close game, but overall I would be the one at the end to get the lucky shot in and win. The shield was like the best thing in the world in my view. I thought the Shield was going to be with me for a couple more years, but that didn’t happen at all.

One day when I got home I couldn’t find the Shield it was only the mask I found. I kept on looking for 1 hour but I couldn’t find it. So then I asked my mom where it is but she did not know where it is. Then when my dad got home I asked him and he said it was at the top of the shelf. I was so relieved when my dad gave it me.
