He believed that while mankind is born with a sense of selfishness and the notion the we individually are the center of the universe kindness can change that.
On a cold, frosty, snow cover night in November at Welcome Home Stadium, was when my life changed. That night, two teams played for the chance to call themselves champions of 6th-grade football. All game, my team and I battled against the mighty Wilmington Hurricanes. We fought all game to win and finally we got the ball back with less than under a minute left and down by 4 points. The crowd was quieter than a church mouse as my coaches huddled us up during a timeout, and in that timeout, my coaches looked to me for answers.

Erik and I first met back in kindergarten playing baseball for the highly recognized Eagles organization. Erik was third base, I played shortstop, and from that point on a friendship was bonded. We both attended Cherry Hills Village Elementary School through 5th grade. Seeing how we shared all the same activities, it was hard not to become friends at such an early age. During the week we would have class, baseball or football practice, and detention.
Throughout the course of history, education has always been an important piece of humanity. Learning, studying, a rigid workload, and applying knowledge to the real world-that is what education is. From education came the valedictorian, a student who has received an academic title of success, and was meant to be a reward for students who deserved it. Even though it may be somewhat competitive, it was never meant to do any harm. In “Best in Class” Margaret Talbot conveys how she wants to keep the tradition of a single valedictorian but wishes to reduce how obsessive people get over it through her appeals to logos and her selective presentation.

The high school life has been a struggle, but he has made it a little easier. I met Coach Minnich the first day of football practice freshman year.

Lauren has worked at Iowa State University for five semesters as a teaching assistant for biology 211 lab. She chose the teaching profession because she truly wants to teach and get some experience teaching undergraduates.
Hey everyone read this so you can get a little bit smarter! This is going to talk about the victim side of child soldiers and if you don’t know what victim means then look it up, I had to. Thousands of children are being forced or had no choice, but to join the army. Should child soldiers be given amnesty, yes because they are being kidnapped and force or even dragged into joining the army. These child soldiers can’t really think at all and they just do what they are told without talking back.
Last year I became captain on the Soccer Varsity team of my high school. Being captain isn’t just being the head of all the girls, but is doing the best for the team. My goal was to work as a team in and outside the field, and working together to win and have fun. But my conflicts with certain girls were getting in the way, because how can I expect them to do a certain thing if I’m not setting an example. I chose to talk to those girls, set things straight and set an example to my teammates.
