I have shadowed Dr. Denis Cesar and Dr. Benny Wright. Dr. Cesar is an allopathic physician specializing in urology and Dr. Wright is an osteopathic physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. I spent 22 hours shadowing Dr. Cesar as he rounded on patients at Merced Urology Medical Group Merced. I shadowed Dr. Wright for 10 hours at Infinite Women’s Care. Both were in clinical settings.
Reading your post brought back memories working as a traveler nurse in California at Kaiser Permanete (KP). I believe KP is one of America 's leading nonprofit integrated health plan, well that was what drilled into our head during hospital orientation. Day two clinicals. This day went so much smoother. I had the same two patient as the day before and one got discharged and I got a new patient. For my week 2 24-hour recall I interviewed my husband E.S. During a conversation held with E. Salcedo (E. Salcedo, oral communication, September 2015) I was able to gather that he is a 42-year-old male Mexican American. As I write this, I’m sitting in the air conditioned 20 by 30 foot Campus Ministry room. It makes me feel nostalgic to think that it was just last year I was sitting in a room by the same name with strikingly different characteristics: cramped, muggy, hazy yellow lighting. Since my freshman year the entire building has slowly evolved from the latter to the former. Now as a senior, the renovations are over halfway completed, and it makes me feel funny to think that in the near future the Wahlert of my freshman year will be long forgotten in both appearance and culture. The transition from eighth grade to ninth grade is one of the most difficult but unforgettable things a student must do in his adolescence.
