NEW PROVIDENCE, NEW JERSEY- This past Friday, on June 5th, the rain did not prevent Salt Brook Elementary School from inviting New Providence High School students from across town for a day of community service. The 23 high school students on Friday’s trip took part in various field day activities such as the Bean Bag Toss, the Long Jump, and the Spoon and Golf Ball Relay.
As a young aspiring musician in middle school, I wanted to start a band desperately. Instead, I was known as Emerson Middle School 's’ music freak. I posted flyers in businesses around my hometown and online ads. I wanted to be like Amy Lee from Evanescence terribly, but my taste in music was different than most people. When my fellow classmates heard about my compositions and ideas, they thought it was a joke.

Hi Folks, How’s your week been. I will admit, I have been quite lazy and have not done a blog the past few weeks. Work and life can certainly get in the way and can drain a person’s essence and willpower. Frankly, people need to recharge their batteries and try an escape the monotony. Hence, I will be taking a trip to a couple of fairs in Minnesota in the coming days.

Times were tough but I knew that somehow we could make it. Being introduced into a new school is difficult for a kid. Especially in the middle of middle school when everybody knew everybody already. Well it doesn 't matter because I wasn 't a normal kid anyways.
When I was in elementary school I wasn’t the brightest kid. In fact, I always got B’s, C’s, and sometimes a D at school. Despite getting that score, my parents rarely got mad at me. As a kid, I would always wondered why my parents never care about it, and a lot of time I would think to myself that none of my parents is actually care about me. Going home from school, I got jealous of my friends that got picked up by their parents.
It was first day of middle school, my mother used to pick me after school but now wasn 't able to so I had to start riding the bus. I 've never road the bus to my house before so I was scared. In the duration of my middle school years, I maintained excellent grades, except I had just one issue that held me back from a satisfying life. That issue was the fact that friends came very hard to me in my middle school years. Before my struggles at my middle school, Trafton, I had a very productive social life in the Elementary school I attended, Roberts Elementary. Here, it was very easy to make friends and have a great social life, since no hard work was required as a kid. Middle school, however, was a great challenge for me.
I was in two elementary schools, the first was Panama Elementary school. I was their for k - 4th grade and then moved to Leo B Hart Elementary school. I was nervous when I was going to go to jr high. My first day of high school as a freshmen in a new level of education Is what I was thinking when I woke from slumber that morning in bed. Stepping foot on the campus wasn’t even the beginning, taking the school bus in the morning is where the first taste of being a freshmen and actually starting and being an high school student. I started to get really nervous and a sense of reality hit me. Walking towards the bus stop all I see is a huge group of high school students waiting around for the bus, calm and cool as I try to stay to be I approach the waiting area not knowing what to I’m getting into.
