Work. That was what took up the majority of my time. The time I could have used to be a good wife to my husband, Jett, and a good mother to my daughter, Athena. I worked everyday throughout the year. Even during the holidays. I work at Shadow Corp. as the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and working on building my own company to protect the environment. She will probably be as beautiful as the goddess Aphrodite. Maybe even more gorgeous than the greek goddess could ever hope to be. We went to the local high school where we lived at the time. He was the most popular senior at our school at the time. I met him in my sophomore year when I transferred in. When I met Jett I was just getting my schedule at the school office and Jett was there as an office TA and the man at the front desk asked Jett to show me around. After that day Jett became my best friend and protected me from any threat that came at me that I didn’t see coming, even though everyone else opposed such a friendship because of our age differences we still hung out every day during and after school at the library. Imagine how everyone reacted when he had asked me out. I never actually wanted to go out on a date with Jett, but he was my best friend. I could never hurt his feelings, and if you had seen the look on his face when I hadn’t said anything since he first popped the question. So I said yes. When I had gotten home that day I tried to think of a way out of going on a date with Jett without having to hurt his feelings. But every solution I thought of ended with me hurting
