Dunaway had drove the ball over the shortstop 's head and had rounded second, it had been a close play, so she slid into third. The umpire, strong and confident, stood up and called her out. Tears rushed down the young girl 's face, as the coach, coach Dalfino, yelled at her saying, “This is no circumstance to cry.” The athlete had walked off of the field, limping in pain. Seriena’s team had two games that day so, once the second
The team trainer feels boobies knee and is worried that boobie will never play the same way again. Lastly the football team had to go on without boobie and had won a few games the last and final game for the state semi-finals championships against carter high school in dallas permian’s final opponent for the state semi-finals. This is a middle class school that is primarily black. After arguing about where to hold the final game both permian, and carter decide on a neutral site.
They rushed to halfcourt in fear of wind sprints and Coach Gunnar told them to sit down. The Coach announced that ¨3 of the 11 players on the Rockets will not be playing for us next season and this week of practice would decide who would be moved to different teams.¨ Then Brett asked ¨ Can the three players move up to different teams because I should play in the gold league not silver league with you scrubs.¨ coach replied to Brett´s boast saying ¨That is the attitude that will get moved down show some respect or we will run till the only thing coming out of that big mouth of yours will be your breath.¨ then Brett gave coach what he wanted and responded with a convicting glare said ¨ Yes coach!¨. The practice went by in a flash and it included tons of positive comments about Harry and his friends mistakes from Brett that were not meant at all but just for his own good. This is how the rest of the week went Harry and his friends were the hardest working kids on the team, but they also made the most mistakes but that made them even more determined to get
“Unfortunately, Jack, there will not be many opportunities for you this year.” Seconds after being told I had made the varsity baseball team, I did not expect my coach to so bluntly tell me I would be spending more time watching the game than playing it. Our state ranked team had a pitching staff full of Division 1 commitments and future MLB draft picks, and I was being told I did not measure up. The bench became my best friend.
“Darn” I said to myself as I slowly jogged out to my spot in left field, swatting gnats and mosquitoes as I went. “If only he’d give me a chance!” I thought, “I know I can play catcher at the same level as anyone out here!” But there I was, warming up in the outfield with the center-fielder and hoping, just hoping, I’d get some action. “At least it’s a really nice evening for a game!”
As the baseball diamond started to fade in and out of my blurry vision, I realized something was wrong when I was still sitting on the bench. I was on varsity baseball, my grade point average was rising, and I was surrounded by positive people all around me who gave off a positive vibe. Of course, all good times must come to an end right? Well my good times came to end quickly.
First home run Crack! The ball flew off the bat and went as high as a bird in the sky. Aaron is a young 11 year old boy who loves playing baseball whenever he can. Every Time that he would step up to the plate he was always swing for the fence and dreamed about hitting the ball over and seeing all the fans cheer as he rounded the bases. All of times Aaron had played he never had home run but was always close sometimes hitting the wall just short of the ball going over it: but today that was about to change.
Oh Deer There was a time when I practically lived at my neighbors. My brother and I would be over there all the time. Whether it was a school night or not we were there. There was an unlimited amount of things we could think up.
Have you ever set your house on fire? Although my house never was engulfed in flames, I did start a fire in my kitchen. Unfortunately for me, this event occurred on the first day of my sophomore year. School ended, and I immediately came home. Since I had a field hockey practice a few hours after school, I was obligated to eat my dinner earlier than I prefer.
I am a creature of habit; big changes scare me. This is something that has really dominated my personality for the past couple of years. When I was going into the eighth grade, I moved from Richmond, Virginia to Phoenix, Arizona, a place where no one knew who I was and very few were willing to try and figure me out. I had lived my entire life in Richmond and was very unwilling to move. I think this is where my personality really began to evolve.
Think Big Leagues When I play baseball with my friends I have lots of fun, but imagine what it would be like to play on a professional team. My parents dream for me is to be successful and happy, but I have had an interest in baseball since I was four years old. I remember waking up ready to go play a tournament in the fresh summer air. When I watch the games on T.V, Mike Trout always stood out to me.
Everyone 's at least broken a bone or injured themselves before right? Well this is one of those tragic stories where I unfortunately injured myself. It all started way back in the 5th grade and all my friends and family know I love & play the game of baseball. The baseball season for the little league I play for is about to begin in about 1-2 weeks.
For the last eight years, softball has shaped my life and taught me many things about leadership, sportsmanship, and how to work as a team. Softball has always made me happy, it’s not just the sport that makes me happy, but it’s the place that I get to go and the people that I get to play it with. Every time I’m on the field or in the cages I feel the most content. The softball field and cages are my sanctuary.
My Experiences in Softball Crack! That was the sound echoing off my bat. Down the baseline I went running, turning first base looking to see where the ball was. Sliding into second base, I was safe. I stood up and heard the roar of the crowd.
Air ball— again. My form was lost, coordination gone, and so was my patience. I’ve stopped playing basketball for 3 months mainly because of school work and things going on in my life. I was determined to get my skills back no matter how long it’ll take. I started a game of basketball with other people inside the gyms court.
