It was an early Wednesday morning on June 15, Ethan was walking to school. Step after step Ethan would look down at his watch and see what time it was, school started at 7:40 and it took him about 10 minutes to get there. Ethan knew he would get there in time because he always did. Ethan was a very smart 8th grader that never got in trouble. He was star football player on the West Jr. High football team. He wasn't tall but was very fast like a cheetah. He was the quarterback of the team and very good at it. He could throw very far and could read the defense like a book. Ethan knew that he had to practice hard tonight for the game on Thursday against the East. Jr. High football team. Ethan was very passionate about the sport, but his teammates were the complete opposite. Every day Ethan would try to be a leader and motivate his team into working hard at practice. He sits with all of his friends from football. That is all they talk about. "Who won last nights football game?" Said Eddy "The Patriots by 14" Ethan replied Ethan's favorite team was the Patriots. His parents were from New England so they were big fans. Ethan's first shirt was a blue and whie Tom Brady patriots jersey. I bet he would still be wearing it if it wasn't so small for him. Ethan looks up to his favorite NFL player, Tom Brady. Tom Brady was the reason Ethan wanted to play quarterback in the first place. It was Ethan's dream to play in the NFL as a quarterback with everybody watching him some day. "10 more minutes till lunch is over" announced Mr. Oscar Ethan started to shove handfuls of chips in his mouth at once. He took a sip of the refreshing Coca-Cola that his mom packed in his lunch this morning. Bite after bite the salt from the chips made Ethan's lips more and more dry, which made the Coke even more delightful. The satisfying drink was almost finished when the bell rang.
