Mountain Man-Personal Narrative

I turned 12 years old the day I met the mountain man. The air was warm, and the bees were buzzing. A long table filled to its edges with pastries, Spongebob Squarepants themed decorations strung from corner to corner, and globs of cake like missiles from the babies launching mechanisms. My parents were filled with love, and I was filled with a sense of adventure and cake.

The evening I left for my adventure my house was a jungle. The rambunctious little ones leaped from couch to couch with bananas in their hands. Throwing the peels at my father. After the dilemma, I got dressed, walked to the living room and turned the knob. The sun was high in the sky. Hummingbirds were busy eating their breakfast, so I turned east, gazing at my destination excited to discover what awaited me at the mountain and beyond.

Now I didn 't worry about it too much at the time, but I remember a weird feeling. A feeling like Deja-vu, as if I had gone through the day already, and I was merely repeating my steps. Following a set route planted in my mind, as if, there was a certain destination on the mountain. Soon after I had reached the mountains base the feeling eased. I began my ascent to the summit, catching glimpses of deer munching on the tops of grass and their occasional ear raises. Peace. That is what I felt when I saw the man.

The story of how she prayed for a guardian angel, when I was born, to watch over me. To protect me. Since that day she has prayed to God and the angels. Asking them to watch over our family and give us good judgement in our lives. I understand why that man appeared before me. He was that angel.
