While we were hiking we saw many things, birds, trees, animals, but I knew that the best sight to see was at the top. The trail slowly but increasingly became more and more difficult. The slope would increase and the sun was getting hotter. Once we passed the tree line we could finally see the top. Once we saw it our pace picked up with our goal becoming closer and closer to us.
I think this photo is also very balanced visually. The horizon line is nearly symmetrical, the foreground is mostly flat so there is nothing that really catches the eye. The left and right sides have about the same amount of mountain detail to look at. Through our different progressions, we find ourselves examining and observing various elements of our natural ecosystem and I find it interesting that a simple picture of some mountains can mean so much in terms of documenting the U.S. landscape and
Having had the foresight to properly test and adjust her loaded backpack before we left the motel, Julie appeared to be doing well in the backpack department, While still in the early planning stage, I envisioned a high country hike and campout on a scenic mountain summit or high grassy bald, meeting and exchanging stories with other hikers on the trail. As our gear arsenal expanded, I realized that, not being born a mule, I was neither prepared or willing to climb any long slope with a fully loaded backpack, no matter how rewarding the prize at the trails end. With a reputation of isolation and proximity to water, my daughter favoured the Lakeshore Trail alongside Fontana Lake, a place we 've only seen looking down from nearby mountain summits. The guide book illustrated the Lakeshore Trail to campsite 98 as a horizontal traverse for the most part, with a series of smallish undulating valleys and crests, the largest having an elevation change of only 500 feet.
Every year I enjoy vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains. The Great Smoky Mountains, truly are God’s country, with the vast mountain ranges, luscious landscapes, and hypnotizing fresh water streams. I enjoy hiking through the popular trails throughout the Great Smoky Mountains. The Smoky Mountains are covered with hundreds of different trees, but the tallest tree in the Smoky Mountains is the Great Tulip tree. The Great Tulip tree is the tallest of the trees, reaching nearly two hundred feet tall.
I was eating my breakfast and driving as fast as I could while eat so I wouldn’t be so late to class. As I was getting close to the college I could see the railroad tracks as I was approaching them. I looked down to get my drink while I was looking down I passed the railroad tracks. To my surprise when I passed the rail road tracks I was teleported from my car to a mysterious sandy environment. Far off in the sandy air I could see a big pyramid in the distance.
The day was cold and gray, no sun. In a place called, Yukon Trail, Alaska, it was fifty degrees below zero. The begging start with a man that decides to take a walk, the time passed and he meets a dog. He thought he would make it back on time because he is meeting with his friends. That was the begging of the story, but neither of them knew what would actually happen.
After years of waiting and preparing we started on the journey to the west. We made our way to Independence, Missouri to go on the Oregon Trail which was laid by traders and trapers. While there I became familiar with George Wilson who was also a working family man. A lot of families left together making the trail busy and causing jams..
In December, my family and I went skiing in Colorado. We like to go see our family, and participate in winter sports. Our two favorite sports are tubing and skiing. When we arrived at Colorado there were ten inches of snow on the ground. We had a choice to go back to my grandparent’s house or go tubing and then go back.
If I could step into a painting for a day, I would step into the Grand Canyon painting. I would step in this painting because the Grand Canyon is a beautiful landscape and it would be a beautiful vacation for me. I would rent a bike before I go down into the canyon because it is a long walk at the canyon. While biking down the canyon, I would hope to see wondrous things. Once I finished going through the canyon, I would take one selfie with the canyon behind me and jump out of the
Many years ago, my cousins great grandparents were on the way to the Blue Ridge Mountains to travel. They left the train and peered up and saw the conductor. They waved to him and he waved back. The conductor followed them to their car. He took them and he threw them onto the tracks .
For this pursuit we went to the Black Ridge Canyon Wilderness Area. Our leaders were Ben, Conner and Louisa. We attended this trip from October 9th through the 11th. This trip was very relaxing. It was hard to give up control and be in a group situation.
Several summers ago, my family was invited on a train ride through the Rocky Mountains on the Georgetown Loop Railroad. I love trains, and what could be better to see the area than by train. When we arrived in Georgetown to board the train, my head dropped. I was expecting to board an Amtrak and not a steam locomotive. Don't get me wrong, I have always been fascinated with locomotives.
The Grand Canyon made me feel meager compared to my surroundings. Normally, being around people and things that are made to be at human scale, does not make you feel big or small, just normal. When you go out into the wild, there are plenty of things that can make you feel large or tiny. For example, ants, small leaves, specks of dirt can make us feel really big. Sometimes, things are so small that they are not even noticed.
Some things you experience in life stick with you for a long time. A family trip I took to Durango, Colorado was one of those experiences for me. There are so many different things that made it so memorable for me. Waking up surrounded by trees, hearing the faint sound of water running from a nearby stream, and finishing this perfect setting were the mountains towering over it all. Durango Colorado has some of the most enjoyable surroundings I've ever experienced.
Love is defined in different ways. People are those who give a meaning to the word love. Based on their experiences, they might living the best days with their loved ones, or despise love because of an unfortunate break up. Some people find their soul mate after the first try—some not even after the hundredth. Being in love and feeling the butterflies in a stomach, and love somebody unconditionally are quite different state of emotions.
