For this pursuit we went to the Black Ridge Canyon Wilderness Area. Our leaders were Ben, Conner and Louisa. We attended this trip from October 9th through the 11th. This trip was very relaxing. It was hard to give up control and be in a group situation. Not having control of where and when we did things was hard for me. The most difficult issue I had was having no control over what food we brought on the trip. I have learned to keep a good balance of food when camping to keep my body happy. Letting others lead that are 4-6 years younger than me was also a new experience. The leaders did a few things that I would never let happen with so many people with different levels of ability and experience. The one issue I had was they did not keep one guide at the front and back of the group. They let different people led and trail the group. At one point when I was leading the group my pace was to fast and I accidentally left a girl behind. She dropped off from the group to pee and she didn't catch up to us until we stopped to take a brake. I felt really bad I let that happen because this was her first real backpacking trip and she was scared. I hiked in extra water to make coffee while assuming there was enough fuel to heat up some water for the group. There was one guy who brought in his own fuel so I was able to use his fuel. Although after I was told I could not use the groups fuel or water the coordinators let another girl in the group use the water to make tea. Overall I made it work but if there was better communication about the fuel and water situation. I would have packed in more water and fuel to let the whole group enjoy a morning cup of
