1593 Words7 Pages

How did I spend my MEA weekend? I spent it Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday at Valleyfair. Yup, I spent like 15 hours in 3 days at the park. Friday night I was there for Haunt with a friend, and Saturday afternoon/evening was a mixture of day and night (I’ll explain later) and then Sunday was for the Season Passholder Appreciation event and day shows. So, I’ll go into as much detail as I remember from this weekend, starting with Friday. Friday night we arrived at the park at about 5:45 and the parking lot gates were not open yet, but by the line of cars (or lack of), I figured it would be a pretty empty night. They opened the gate to park at around 6, and we got a really good parking spot since it was so dead and then we bought my friend’s ticket …show more content…

I love the atmosphere of Trails End and the concept, it’s so foggy and unique. (6/10). We went through Hellside Farm which was a let down, just like last time. Yeah, it was creepy because we could not see because of all of the fog, but the only things that got us were the two people at the exit, otherwise no scares here (5/10). Then to Mr. Cleaver’s Bloodshed, which was intense as usual. Lots of good scares, lots of loud scares, lots of me screaming. This one also got me good Friday night (8/10). We went on the Wild Thing which seemed SUPER fast, but was a ton of fun! We then headed through CarnEvil and Bloodcreek Cemetery, which were both let downs so they both get a 4/10. We then went to London Terror, which was also a letdown (last year’s theming was so much better), so it gets a 5/10. Human(e) Habitat stepped it up Friday night and actually got me to jump a few times, but what the heck was I sprayed with? It’s cold, why do I want water sprayed on me? :p But there were a few good scares, so it gets a 6/10. Dinoslaughter gets a 3/10 this time, just because I had a caveman jump out of a bush at me and scream in my face, and by the time I saw them, they were gone- so bravo disappearing caveman, you got me …show more content…

Absolutely), but it was an absolute blast. I took a ton of pictures with performing friends (thanks guys for always putting up with me), went through a ton of mazes (Including Chateau 6 times in one night), made some new friends (Chateau vampires, I’m talking to you :) ), and even got to catch up with some old Valleyfair friends. All in all, was it the “Best Day Ever”? Absolutely, and it was for 3 days in a row. In fact, I could’ve said so much more but you don’t want every single detail about my weekend. :p With that, I have 2 to 3 visits left for the season, which is SUPER bittersweet, but I’ll get into that more in a few weeks. Until next
