Hi Reneld, On Thursday, June 8th, I had talked to an advisor about schedule revision. She said that I do not need to revise my schedules, since there was a mistake with my program completion; that I am working on Associate of Arts Degree instead of AS2 degree. She said she already notified you about this. Have you received this notification?
After my friend returned home from studying abroad, her pedantic behavior and pretentious attitude made me stop talking to her. That
Hi Vicki, A call was transferred to me earlier today and the person did not leave his area code. He was asking for Malpractice Insurance information for one of our attorneys. Do you by chance have his phone number? If he calls again, please let know and tell them I did not have the correct area code.
After World War II, several of the Nazi soldiers were questioned about their reasoning behind the corrupt actions they were guilty of---killing hundreds of thousands of men and women, destroying families in the process, and marking their time as a dark part of history. Who on earth would do such a thing? What could their excuse possibly be? Well, to them, they were simply following orders. It’s obvious to believe that the soldiers would find their humanity and resist their commands, but they didn't.
Hi Angel & Dave, "That 's not my job" is a common quote for those that do just the minimal at work. When I orient new employees, I always share with them their duties but I also inform them that they should become familiar with other employee 's job duties because it may give them an opportunity for growth. I share my personnel experience that I was an entry level employee that was promoted due to doing beyond my duties and they may be given that opportunity too if they want to grow within the organization. Angel, You may have not experience the BQS, but with your disclosure of being the first to share that your a guy that happens to be Hispanic and gay, you are a
I lied to my friend Alayna that i was not able to hang out because my mom said no. But really I was already going with a girl she didn’t like. I felt so bad that I ended up telling her later that day. Also I always tell my opinion when I am asked. My friend melany asked me my opinion on a guy she was talking to and I told her I don’t want her talking to him because I didn’t like him at all.
Hi Ellen, Ok I worked out the car and license situation so I should be able to start earlier. A May 23rd start date and an end date in the week of August 8th-12th would work best for me. Also for the Action Items, I completed all of them but have not yet received the Pre-Hire Contingency paperwork.
I am Mica Herrin, a struggling college student from a provincial town in the middle of nowhere with a bank account that is composed mostly of some change I found in the fountain, but my lineage is a story that consists of much more. My family is vibrant and diverse, spanning across most of the west coast, the mid west, the south of the United States, as well as into northern Europe. We are a ragtag collection of farmers, intellectuals, artists, and creepy uncles all with our own unique tales of travel, wonder, and woe. My personal story begins in the Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Alabama on July ninth, 1996. As the second child of Kevin and Darla Herrin, I spent the first three years of life in Mobile, Alabama before continuing my life journey to Dallas, Texas.
People have trouble understanding why and how people become who they are. Ted Bundy was a psychopath that killed many, but no one knows why. What people wonder though is why did he commit these crimes? What made him like the way he was?
As an incoming Junior, I was able to join a lab of graduate students who were researching brain development in drosophila after mutating its DNA sequence. Right away I was enthralled. I loved the endless possibilities that came with experimentation, even when though our results were inconclusive. My experience in the program also taught me to think independently as I was separated from my peers.
Hi Mint, "when you could make it invenient (convenient?) for yourself to have a little talk with me in person". I totally agree with your saying about online relationships. When one of the two is not ready to meet the other in person, it is better to continue as it was. To me, children world is the same as adult world.
Hi Kaylee, its really awesome that you have stuck with Aaron 's Acres for two summers! Especially because I know from experience that interning at the same place for longer allows you to have a more in depth learning experience. I stayed at Heartland for 225 hours and I leave there feeling confident about what I have learned. I was there January-now nearly 8 months and I am grateful for that opportunity.
Hi Victor, I agree with you that taking action in some cases will cause you pain. A few years back I was about 30 lbs over wieght from a very larthigic lifestyle. Then I joined the gym and tried to start spin class but I was continually postponing classes. One day I was giving my son a lot of excuses as to why I was putting off classes, he looked at me and said "Don 't think about it Dad just do it, no matter what just do it".
Your name is who you are; it’s the essence of your being. You and your name will go through thick and thin, young and old, and life and death together. You two are forever inseparable, like brother and sister, white on rice, or a fat boy and triple chocolate cake. My name happens to be Mykel. To many people I encounter in life, phonetically pronounce my name as “Michael,” “Mukal,” or even “Mah-Kawyll” by my Southern eleventh grade AP English teacher, Ms. Clawson, who always butchered my name with different pronunciations for the first two months of the quarter, and somehow managed to make it sound similar to an imitation crow call by an amateur bird caller.
For my second experiential learning assignment, I decided to break a social norm while going out to eat with my family at a restaurant: granted this is something I have a habit of doing but the reaction I got from my dining mates was particularly interesting this time. To give a little bit of background of the setting I was in at the time, I was with my mother, younger brother, and my mother’s friend at a restaurant in DC for my birthday dinner. The restaurant was crowded, but not many people were paying attention to what we were doing. The behavior I decided to break was dipping my fingers in the container caramel was in and then proceeded lick my fingers after doing so. I choose to break this social norm because one, the caramel sauce was really good, and two I was testing to see if my mother would say anything: normally on my birthday she lets me get away with
