The first guy came up to the plate. I could not be happier. The first pitch was a strike. Then the 2nd pitch was a strike and the batter swung and missed. The last pitch came and struck the first batter out.
When officer toke me to Roberto school I was scared but when Roberto got into the car too we were both scared and nervous because we didn't know what they were going to do to us but we know we were going to get deported but like 10 minutes later we got to are apartments but then he told us where we lived then we said follow us.while we were walking we tried to escape we tried and sprint but they caught up, so we had to show then then we got to are door step and knock on the door and my parents open it and they said where are your green card and we said
The ball went flying through the air as if it was taken by the wind. I watched it and then was then yelled at to RUN! It was my first ever baseball hit. I Lined up inside the box itching to get my first hit. The pitcher got the signals from his coach.
I thought as I turned to catch the breeze on my face. “Play ball” shouted the Umpire, as I got into a comfortable stance to watch another boring inning of “infield baseball”. Our pitcher and infield were good, too good, and thus as an outfielder I never got any action. The thing was, our team was the best in the league that year, and that was because our coach
Once again I threw a couple more pitches, then the umpire yelled, “PLAY BALL!” The first batter stepped up to the plate. I walked him on four straight pitches. The pain in my arm was back. Five runs had already scored in the first inning.
Tomorrow is the day that my family and I go to North Carolina to meet my dad’s sister that he has never met. Everyone is really excited that the whole house is going crazy. In the Rosenboom house hold you can never get any peace and quiet other than when everyone goes to bed because my younger brother, Mason, and my two younger sisters, Maddie and Brooklynn, are little fireballs full of energy. Everyone already has their bag pack and they are all ready to go, but I can’t find anything to wear for the next week. So I had to have my older sister, Marika, help me find some clothes
The most boring day ever. “Sweet, I got a quad feed” I called out. I was playing Call of Duty with my best friend, Bobby who was 12 at the time and my brother ty who was only 9. As for me, I was 10. I was very skinny and boney
First home run Crack! The ball flew off the bat and went as high as a bird in the sky. Aaron is a young 11 year old boy who loves playing baseball whenever he can. Every Time that he would step up to the plate he was always swing for the fence and dreamed about hitting the ball over and seeing all the fans cheer as he rounded the bases. All of times Aaron had played he never had home run but was always close sometimes hitting the wall just short of the ball going over it: but today that was about to change.
He was devastated to hear that I 'd be practically be missing the whole season because of a basketball camp. Sadly the season rolls around and here I am at the first game with a cast on. Sitting on the bench cheering my team on. Watching them play the game I love, it hurt me like I waited so long for the season to come around. Just for me to be sitting out all season, this is the first time ever I have had to watch the whole season from the side.
Then I ran out to the field and began pitching. It was the change of an inning. I went into the dugout, got my drink of my water and rested my arm for the next inning of pitching. First batter was up for our team, he got a hit. The second batter, strikes out.
One of my best days was when my soccer team won the championship. I won several other championships ,but with other teams. This was my first season playing with this team. The major characters in this event were me, my teammates, my coaches and the parents. This event took place in a park at sanger during the summer.
A sense of accomplishment is invaluable to a person. Not only does a sense of accomplishment build confidence and faith in oneself, but it also allows one to reflect on how wonderful the journey to the accomplishment was, and how every little struggle and triumph was worth it. In the middle of summer, where time seems endless and the stress of the previous school year has been shed by students, I never expected to find out that I scored a five on both of the advanced placement exams I took. Nor did I have one-hundred percent confidence the goals we set as section leaders of the marching band would actually be met. Yet to my surprise, I had the good fortune of accomplishing challenging things in both aspects of my life.
