On our way to Regionals everyone on the bus was pumped up. We couldn’t wait to arrive at Troy. I can remember as soon as we left the school I got that tight feeling in my stomach that I was like, oh my gosh I can not wait. On our way Alexis Moon and I sat in a seat together and just discussed how excited we were. We pulled up at the park playing the song “Panda” on the bus with our speaker, we were all just overwhelmed. My thoughts as I was walking on the field were, let's see how good I can be. We make it through the first game winning, that means we have another game, and guess what? Won it too. We get to the last game as the only undefeated team. Someone would have to beat us two times in a row for us to go home. We go and look at the bracket and guess what it says? West Blocton. Our thoughts were scrambled at the time. If we didn’t win any more games after this one we wanted to beat West Blocton. We wanted to beat them so bad because they put us out of the tournament two years in a row because we couldn’t hit their pitcher. So, our words were, “We are coming for you.” As we got ready for the championship game as an undefeated team I will never forget what was going through my head. We can out scoring runs and making plays like we knew we could. Everyone was hitting off of a pitcher that shut us down two years in a row, so of course that was good. It got close to the end of the game and got up to bat and I was saying to myself, “You have to just hit the ball hard.” So I didn’t just hit the ball hard I hit what we call a “dong” or to you guys, over the fence. As the crowd got loud and we all got excited we had one more inning to hold them and we had them run ruled. I learned that nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it. We proved it by showing people we could beat West
