The third time I took Jake Vanderheydt paintballing was the funniest/best time I 've ever gone with him. It was a clear Sunday morning when me and jake arrived at Pekin Paintball. We were ready to kick some butt. We got all geared up and ready to go but there were only about 3 other people there so we couldn 't start at match until we had an even amount of people on each team so me and jake went on a speedball field and played one on one. It was going fine until jakes gu started acting up.
Rodeo has helped me grow up. Since third grade I went from going to rodeos with my family to chasing the white lines on my own. I have had numerous opportunities presented to me from rodeo such as being on tv for qualifying for Worlds, traveling all the way to New Mexico and Wyoming to compete, and being rodeo queen for Southern Indiana Junior Rodeo Association. My parents took care of my horses for me. They cleaned stalls, fed them day and night, and packed the trailer for each rodeo.
On a cold, frosty, snow cover night in November at Welcome Home Stadium, was when my life changed. That night, two teams played for the chance to call themselves champions of 6th-grade football. All game, my team and I battled against the mighty Wilmington Hurricanes. We fought all game to win and finally we got the ball back with less than under a minute left and down by 4 points. The crowd was quieter than a church mouse as my coaches huddled us up during a timeout, and in that timeout, my coaches looked to me for answers.
Let me tell you something you already know life isn 't always about sunshine and rainbows, sometimes it can be really hard and not always the greatest. It isn’t always easy when challenging yourself to accomplish new goals. One goal I am working on is becoming a barrel racer. I am seeing a lot of failure and I don 't give up on my dreams because it is my goal to keep on going till I achieve my goals that I set for myself. Why one is because of fear and failure and what if it doesn 't work out for myself and the fear of not getting to be successful at my dream.
So you think barrel racing is easy right? It may seem that way to some. I guess it may seem that way to some. I guess it may be if for twenty seconds you can muster an insane amount of courage. Barrel racing is a fast paced sport full of danger.
I Love Rodeos I love to go to rodeos. I fell in love with rodeos at a very young age. I remember watching the horses trot around the arena. I would sit in the front row and admire the beauty of the horses. I love the atmosphere that rodeos have, it is indescribable.
I grew up in a rodeo family, my parents did it, my grandparents did it, even my great grandparents did it. I have been on a horse, well, since before I was born. I have had a rope in my hand since I knew how to walk. I even won my first buckle when I was three, my first saddle when I was five, and won a trailer when I was eight. I was the best around.
My First Time Tubing Behind A Speedboat The fear of falling was overpowering, it made me feel weak and scared. One Saturday my father, stepmother, little sister and I were headed out to our family's Cabin to go tubing behind Russ` speedboat on Lake May. The ride there was pretty long, but it was fine, we were talking about being behind a speedboat I was honestly very scared about it.
Prologue: Okay so here's a little background information before I get into the story. Caleb organizes paintball games usually every other weekend where we practice military tactics and strategies on each other at Caleb's acreage. Paintball guns are obviously non lethal, but they hurt!(Ask Caleb about his arm) We usually go by the “mercy” rule.
but I feel I would have enjoyed it more without. I am not sure how many people were there, I would think somewhere between 40 and 60 people but needless to say the amount of people didn’t really matter. It was a great pleasure to learn about the ASLHS and see the awards given for students who have done fantastic work with ASL. The event really invigorated me and made me want to continue refining me ASL skills after I graduate and become more integrated with the large community here in Seattle. On the final not of all of this, I was enjoying myself so much that I nearly forgot to get a photo of myself.
I was sweating profusely. The powerboat was traveling at breakneck speed. I was completely pumped up and feeling invincible. I've always been a thrill-seeker.but this speed was almost too much,'Don't freak out',I told myself' Just remember the name of your boat-Nerves of steel!'I have to powerboat racing because i'm a thrill-seeker. I was terrified and sweating profusely.
All things in life can be enjoyable but also unexpected. Everyone has their own natural high. My natural high is riding my dirt bike. Even though riding my dirt bike is fun, it can also be very dangerous. It is very important to always wear safety gear while operating an off-road vehicle.
One incident I can recount when I experienced failure was when I joined Cross Country. Since, I can remember I have always excelled at everything I did, from my academics to dance class to music lessons. When I entered into my freshman year of high school, I decided I would to join an athletic team in order to keep myself occupied outside of academics. I figured joining a sport would be another good attribute to add to my resume.
Throwing Children Have you ever wanted to fly? After many years of training and being thrown around by my gymnastics instructors, I learned it is possible to fly. I was taught to fly, I then thought others to fly and now I contemplate letting my children to be taught to fly. Yes, humans can fly.
Putting the fun back into physical activity for children will do wonders to foster PA. You don’t see children playing in neighborhoods anymore. A constructive approach to developing outdoor free play is, in my opinion, the cornerstone of developing a love of doing, moving, and being physically active. Many children don’t enjoy the harshness of competitive sport (I was one of them) but do enjoy being out and about doing things. As a child play that involved running, cycling, swimming, and skating were all the things that I truly loved.
