Let me tell you something you already know life isn 't always about sunshine and rainbows, sometimes it can be really hard and not always the greatest. It isn’t always easy when challenging yourself to accomplish new goals. One goal I am working on is becoming a barrel racer. I am seeing a lot of failure and I don 't give up on my dreams because it is my goal to keep on going till I achieve my goals that I set for myself. Why one is because of fear and failure and what if it doesn 't work out for myself and the fear of not getting to be successful at my dream.
He was too smart for his own good. I walked up to him and he came over snorting and pawing and carrying on like he was the toughest thing since black powder. I put out my hand and he tried to snatch it from my arm. Just then Big Jake came over and he settled right down. Came over and nuzzled him.
My barrier was breaking my finger. I played softball for Troy Patterson. I had been practicing with them for about 1 week. We had a tournament that weekend and i was playing first base.
On Sunday I went to Great Life to work with my basketball insuctor, Jen. I went there AROUND 2:30. We worked ON: my jump shot, my right hand, which I never use; post moves, and some ball handlaing. As we were shooting we noitced that these little kids were having tourble shooting on a full 10ft basket; therefore I helped them lower the basket so they could shoot. They similed and thanked me as they contiuned to shoot.
I have been playing lacrosse for 3 years now, and I buy lots of my gear at Velocity. Because Velocity Lacrosse is my favorite place to buy my gear, I chose to write to you! Your store is very close to where I live, so I often visit. My father was the coach of my team last year and loves lacrosse as well.
Today being the last full day of the event brought us a good crowd and we managed to gain strong support. We had positive responses from folks around the nation on issues we are trying to fix from other states that have seen the effects of shutting down mines and power plants. Everyone is looking forward to being part of the upcoming call to action. The amount of people was consistent throughout most of the day.
I became apart of Marcus Golf my sophomore year after I switched over from soccer. With a smooth transition I was able to be successful very early on. I was nominated to be team captain my sophomore year when I was on JV, and when I got moved up to Varsity I continued to be a strong leader. With lots of hard work and dedication every day I was able to win an award for Most Fairways my junior year. I enjoy being a part of this program, and love being a leader on and off the
When I was younger I always wanted to play basektball, but my mother thought other wise, she wanted me to play soccer. " Dawit come on you're gonna be late to you soccer game" she yells. My mother always knew I hated playing soccer, but because my father played it she forced it on to me. My defintion of soccer is run around for 30 minutes straight, take a break, run around again, and after 1 hour someone makes a goal. "DAWIT!"
My breath caught, I close my eyes tight. I just counted to five. I just counted five. My eye burned; I pulled with all my might, I was going too fast. I tugged again putting my entire weight into it finally I slowed down.
While soccer is singled out as one of my very strong passions, I find myself playing harder and smarter during school soccer. With the help of Craig Rocastle, former professional soccer player and the current coach of Seaman High School, we are undergoing one of the best seasons Seaman High has ever had. Presently after seven games we have yet to face defeat; furthermore, Rocastle pushes our team to the limits and states, “We will fly, I am proud of our season so far but there is still another level in us.” As our team enter each game with new mentalities and expectations we are; in fact, becoming a better team while also handling the task at hand and winning the game.
Throughout playing tennis for Creekside Middle School, I have faced lots of success. I played varsity all three years there, and during my sixth grade year, helped my team win the annual county tournament between middle schools. Though I was successful for many of my matches, I did met with failure at times. One of these times would be in my seventh grade year, when my doubles partner and I had lost in the final round of the tournament.
The lacrosse game Last Saturday I went to my first ever lacrosse game in Ithaca, New York. The game was played between the college teams Albany Great Danes and Cornell Big Red. I had been invited by friends, and of course I wanted to go. I knew nothing about lacrosse before the game but now I’d almost consider myself a professional.
Putting the fun back into physical activity for children will do wonders to foster PA. You don’t see children playing in neighborhoods anymore. A constructive approach to developing outdoor free play is, in my opinion, the cornerstone of developing a love of doing, moving, and being physically active. Many children don’t enjoy the harshness of competitive sport (I was one of them) but do enjoy being out and about doing things. As a child play that involved running, cycling, swimming, and skating were all the things that I truly loved.
When I was a child, I did not necessarily have a favorite toy as if to say, but there one thing in particular that I always used to liked playing with. That one thing was Basketball, A child’s favorite toy is usually something a child would bring around with them all the time and would cherish. That's exactly what I would do with my basketball. That leathery-bumpy skin of the ball in hands while I would dribble diligently down the street, was one of the greatest feelings I had as a child. The squeaking of shoes on the court and the swish of the ball in the hoop was probably the second best thing about basketball.
My brother just started playing soccer. This was his first time and he didn’t know that much about it. I had played when I was little and I knew somethings about soccer so I figured I could teach him what I knew.
