Premier Sportsman, Inc., is compiled of generations of hunters. Growing up, I was given many opportunities to see what hunting, fishing and nature was all about. Later, as a husband, father and grandfather I discovered what it meant to have that perfect story. That perfect hunt, a guided trip, up in the hills with my buddies, in a drift boat on the Kenai or Columbia River... Creating and capturing memories are what is important to us at a Premier a Sportsman, Inc.
The story The House On Mango Street was published in 1983 by a female author going by the name of Sandra Cisneros. She was born on December 20, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois. Cisneros was influenced to write The House On Mango Street because of her childhood home that she used to live in. The main character, Esperanza, grew up very lonely with no friends. This relates to Cisneros because she also grew up very lonely and without friends.
“You two, get the ball down the pool and take a shot, just make sure it’s inbounds, don’t worry if you miss the goal, Kenzie will get the rebound.” My coach has barked these orders on numerous occasions throughout the year and it has never failed to give me a little thrill inside. As an athlete that tends to go unnoticed, getting acknowledgement in such an offhand way is pretty exciting. It shows me I have a place on the team, a job that my team depends on me to do. Water polo is a very difficult sport.
When I was younger I always wanted to play basektball, but my mother thought other wise, she wanted me to play soccer. " Dawit come on you're gonna be late to you soccer game" she yells. My mother always knew I hated playing soccer, but because my father played it she forced it on to me. My defintion of soccer is run around for 30 minutes straight, take a break, run around again, and after 1 hour someone makes a goal. "DAWIT!"
“LET'S GO!” Screams a player on my team who has clearly been at the field for a while, waiting anxiously for the first box lacrosse game of the season. This is my first season playing lacrosse; a sport that I've always wanted to play but never had the courage to try, until now. I arrive at the field, my heavy bag has started to cramp my hand before the game has even begun. Most of our team is there and is already padded up and waiting for the game to begin.
2.Costs a Lot of Money Lacrosse costs a lot of money. To play in the game it costs $100! It ends up being worth it because the game is a lot of fun, just be prepared to pay for it. If you thought that costs a lot it’s nothing to compared to how much it costs for the equipment. All of the required equipment costs $400!
In December, my family and I went skiing in Colorado. We like to go see our family, and participate in winter sports. Our two favorite sports are tubing and skiing. When we arrived at Colorado there were ten inches of snow on the ground. We had a choice to go back to my grandparent’s house or go tubing and then go back.
Here I was stuck in the middle of the woods in the pitch dark trying to find a way to get out of this horrid place. I could hear coyotes crying all around me, all that was going through my head was that they were hungry. I heard rustling in the bush right next to me and I tried to maintain my composure and proceeded to fiddle with my Dirt-Bike. It seemed like hours I was trying to kick start this bike, I couldn’t see a thing, not even my hands. I mostly relied on my muscle memory the whole time trying to find the fuel cutoff line which, seemed impossible.
As we brainstormed our idea and how to market it three factors were involved with this; geographics, demographics, and the psychographics of our target market. Our target market is all lacrosse coaches, players, recreational lacrosse teams, school teams, and professional lacrosse teams. Our product would be sold nationally as well as international but specifically marketed where lacrosse is a popular pastime. For example, since there is much more demand for our net in the United States and Canada than China, then that would be where we would more specifically market our product too. Nick and I decided the main target market for the reboundable lacrosse net would be to the age group of high school students and above since there are minimal recreational lacrosse teams for younger children.
I have been interested in professional lacrosse for awhile and thought this was the perfect opportunity to research and learn more about the
Hockey Has Changed My Life I believe in being active, dedication, and hard work. Those characteristics have gotten me to where I am today. Being active, dedicated, and hard working have truly helped hockey career, from third grade to playing High School Varsity hockey. I believe that being active has helped me numerous times.
As a freshman who just came to US for less than a week, I decided to join the school Junior Varsity Golf team, a sport that I have only seen on TV before. I don’t know what gives me the courage to join team. However, I’m very thankful that I made the decision. For the following four years, I have learnt so much and have had so much fun in the team that I would not image a fall season without playing golf. At first, I couldn’t even hit the ball or just dig a big hole in the ground.
For fifteen years, baseball was my life; I have countless favorite memories and am grateful for the lessons and values learned during my baseball journey. After a year of playing in college while battling an injury, I decided to alter my goals; ultimately, I chose to leave baseball behind. Finishing out the school year left me feeling anxious pertaining to what I might expect in the future, but deep down I knew I made the right choice of transferring to the University of Illinois. Brand-new friends introduced me to opportunities I might have previously passed on, and as a result, I found myself wanting a connection to the community. Being a student teacher in our Child Development Lab, joining student organizations, and volunteering at our
I could sense the butterflies creeping up into my stomach. It was the first day of golf tryouts and I was so nervous. I acted like I was not because I did not want to seem like I was scared. The air was dead, scorching and my butterflies were swarming. As I looked about, everyone around me appeared to be very good at golf, and knew exactly what they were doing.
Have you ever set your house on fire? Although my house never was engulfed in flames, I did start a fire in my kitchen. Unfortunately for me, this event occurred on the first day of my sophomore year. School ended, and I immediately came home. Since I had a field hockey practice a few hours after school, I was obligated to eat my dinner earlier than I prefer.
