Growing up in San Diego was fun. The beach was near my high school and it was the ultimate after school hangout. At the beach, you could enjoy the best homemade ice cream at Mootime Creamery. When my friends were hungry, we would head out to the closest taco shop. My favorite dishes are rolled and fish tacos.
no one have said anything for a while then Scott speaks up "where are you in Beacon Hills"when he asks the question he looks me right in the eyes "well like Jasmine told you, i went into a sleep like that before then woke up saying that we need to come here. but i never why or what i saw" when i talk i look at my heads "i saw you and your pack" i continue talking but now looking up at Scott "you were surround by death, i saw all of you dying. and i heard about you, how you had a pack but not alpha and that you had a human and a hunter. i couldn 't just let you die so i thought maybe if i came here i could help"
Last Sunday, I went on the fieldtrip to Oakland to gain a view of the gentrification reality there. Initially my friends were all amazed why I would go there since they had thought there was a dangerous place to visit. Prior to the trip, my impression about Oakland is a city with a longer history than those in south bay, since I noticed there was a Chinatown which was a product of the immigration wave happened centuries ago, and those Cantonese immigrants called Oakland “二埠” (the second port besides San Francisco). After I arrived there, I realized that Oakland was not only a city preserved history but also a wonderland of racial diversity. According to what I learned from the lecture, Oakland was once had its own structure of what kinds
Most people have moved before sometime in their life. For me, it was only two times. The first move was an international move from Vietnam to the United States of America, when I was just 8 months old. At the time, it was just my mom, dad, and me, traveling across the world to start a new life. Word of advice, moving is hard.
After we moved to Colorado I became a wild child some might say, and once I graduated from High School and moved away from home I was on a path of destruction. Throughout this entire time, my parents were supportive and we had a good relationship. My sister and I had a good relationship but she was married by this time and moved to Colorado a couple years later. Although, I never was in a committed relationship I would date and had a few girlfriends throughout this time.
I have lived in East Oakland my whole life. To the majority of people, the mention of East Oakland evokes thoughts of violence, shootings, and gangs. I was one of the people who believed in these stereotypes, and for a particularly long time. I was one of the people who saw Oakland as a wasteland, a place with nothing to offer me, and a place I had nothing to offer to.
Moving to Cleveland was one of the worst days of my life. My mom told us to pack our bags because we were moving to one of the best and most beautiful places in Ohio. I was an idiot and thought Ohio would be just like The Woodlands. I thought they would have winning teams, lots of trees, and comfy neighborhoods with parks, but it was exactly the opposite.
As I stepped on the bus I felt a little nervous. This was my first ride on a city bus. I picked a seat near the front and by a window so I could see where I was going. I just kept thinking, “Don’t miss your stop. Don’t miss your stop.”
I started my life in Idaho right after I had moved from Colorado. I had only moved to Idaho because my family had lived here and my mom didn’t want to be living away from them. In Colorado I had lived with my mom and aunt. It was just us three till we had moved. After our move we lived with my grandma and my two uncles, as my mom being the oldest she had to take care for five people.
Before I achieved victory in becoming the person to earn riches and to eradicate the humanoids, it was a normal American Suburban Life for me. I was a middle class kid who went to a private school, got good grades, had lots of friend and well, was an all american boy. I have brown hair, black eyes, average height, about 140 pounds and was in high school, sophomore and I guess you can say fit. Anyway...
I was boarding the plane to go to California but I was actually really scared because I have never been on a plane before and I had to sit on the window seat. Also I had no food because I was hungry and I was watching tv
In the summer of 2012, was when I was leaving for Virginia. A lot had happened in the previous months before this moment. Things such as my mom getting a new car, getting a new dog, my mom having a heart attack, and so on. Over everything that was happening, the biggest thing was moving across country from Arizona. Although, the hardest part for me was leaving my dad behind.
Across the Country There will be a journey from Sacramento, California to the state capital of Madison, Wisconsin. This journey will be taken by 4 very different individuals. of course, they're my team vessel for this road trip is a tanky little van built to use as little gas as possible with no flattering to its physical Beauty. Of course, they go over the things they need for when they are up on the trip up. The seminar they plan to intend involving many things from proper police conduct to ways to quicken legal proceedings.
Its was a beautiful sunny day me and my sisters were just all doing our own stuff. My sisters playing, i'm playing on my xbox. Next thing you know my dad called us into the his room. Him and my stepmom were just sitting on the bed looking like there's good news, but at the same time I thought we were in trouble. My stepmom Shar said, “We have some family new!”
Sometimes my old friends call me, but I don’t think that they miss me that much. It was Friday after school and all of our friends decided to meet up at my house. In that small group of friends, there was a girl named Michelle, a boy named Alvin, and the other boy’s name was Mikey.
