We finally got to Winston-Salem after 2 hours of a long drive. When we pulled up to our new home it was bigger then the last one, I was happy that I moved to Winston, but the only thing was that I didn 't want to go to my new school because I knew no one there and it was going to be very awkward, but when I went the next day it wasn 't that bad, I made new friends so, I wasn 't so lonely. My mom went to work while I was at school. She said that she was glad that she took this job and she doesn 't regret it at all and I was really happy for her.
In the spring of 2012, I was informed that we were going to move. As a thirteen going on fourteen year old, the news was rather jarring. I was born and raised in that house, in that town, it was all I knew. We packed up our belongings and began the 678 mile journey to our new “home.” Moving from Hartland, Michigan to Durham, North Carolina was not only immense in distance, but in way of life.
Tish, I went to go watch finding dory and it brought back a lot of memories. I lost your number when I transfered my data on my phone but I just wanted to tell you that I 'm sorry. I 'm sorry that I didn 't communicate as much as I should have. For not showing you how much I cared about you.
Our first stop was the new house we were going to live in. This is where we encounter some bumps in the road. The house we bought was not finished building. The construction workers told my dad it would take them 3 months to finish building the house. My mom’s sister’s let us stay at their house for a few months.
The fact that I had to leave my best friends was hard, but the people I have met in Idaho and the experiences I have had since moving have made up for the difficult transition.
I was born in Texas and live here now, though moved around a lot when I was young. I had been to eight different schools by the time I graduated. For some reason or another, every few years my family had to move somewhere else for a promotion or a bigger opportunity. Aside from just moving to a different suburb, When I was 11, my Dad was promoted and we moved to Wyoming. Friends aside, it 's just a cold and un-interesting place.
Moving on to Columbus after the season was over at Cedar Point, I leased my first apartment. Things were going great for me, I was living one day at a time. My goal was to get into school and make my parents proud, I wanted them to see that I was more than just a bride. I worked extra hard, I made sure my bills were paid on time. I have learned that I do not have any room for mistakes while living out on my own, especially when I refuse to accept any help.
The feeling of leaving everyone and everything you know behind with as little as two weeks’ notice is unimaginable. However over time I have learned that the true reason behind it is not so they can have more, but so their child can have a better life. It is very stressful for most people to just up and leave the place they call home for work. My entire life so far has consisted of me moving from one place to another.
Well the crops weren’t as good this season, but then again, I never had time for my crops. It’s been a really sad year because first my newborn baby die from the flu. Then my beautiful wife got the flu and I couldn’t do anything thing for her and she died too.
I had no idea about what I was going to find in Little Rock. First of all, I have been enjoying my groups company, I feel that we’re more close and united after that trip. Therefore, I liked a lot traveling there with them and I also adored the highway. It’s wonderful to admire nature while you are on the road, it reminded me some speedways in Mexico. For me, one of the most interesting places there was High Central.
I grew in a little town in southern Oregon. Butte Falls is nestled in the middle of the Cascade range, and at its heyday, was a booming logging town. There were 350 residents in the town, and several more in the surrounding area. My family and I lived several miles out of town on a gravel road. Growing up there was peaceful.
Jim was a friend I used to hang out with back when I was in middle school. He was a decent companion to me, and since I was new to the school, he made me feel like I wasn 't the only one. We would play basketball and play his Nintendo at whenever I would go to his house after school. He was slightly tall, so when we played basketball, he would generally give a good old fashioned thumping to me on the court. He was taller than I was so I could not block any of his shots.
Moving into the house was difficult because from moment one my first day at the house was bad. When I went
In the summer of 2012, was when I was leaving for Virginia. A lot had happened in the previous months before this moment. Things such as my mom getting a new car, getting a new dog, my mom having a heart attack, and so on. Over everything that was happening, the biggest thing was moving across country from Arizona. Although, the hardest part for me was leaving my dad behind.
Bumping into people while looking down and asking multiple people for direction even though I was shy. Giving five minutes after each class to get to the other, walking into a classroom on my first day people staring and observing. Moving to a different town is not about the new house, it is about adapting to a new environment. Moving away from family and friends can be a tough thing to do. I had to adjust to leaving my friends and family that I loved and seen almost every day.
