Dabo Swinney: A Transformational Leader Leadership is a very important part of having a successful organization. A strong leader brings a vision, and provides the motivation needed to unite a group bring them to achieve a common goal by aligning the organization to its vision. Good leaders are inspirational and charismatic they lead their organization through the internal and external changes that occur (Gupta, 2009). Dabo Swinney, the head coach of the Clemson Tigers football team is an exemplary example of a strong leader.
Abortion has always been one of the most controversial topics throughout the world. Michael Tooley wrote an article called “Abortion and Infanticide” which consisted of his arguments on the topic. Premise one states that “rights secure for individuals things that we desire.” In this premise, Tooley is arguing that if you desire to have something, then others cannot step in and remove that something from you. For example, if I wanted to have an abortion, Tooley argues that nobody should be able to step in and deprive me from wanting to have that abortion.
One who truly embodies effective leadership has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. I have served under supervisors whose leadership styles did not prove to be effective, mostly due to a lack of respect for their subordinates. They did not show a desire to know or take care of their people; perception and the mission were the only priorities. The barrier created by this lack of respect for their workers resulted in distrust and little motivation to give maximum effort. I was very lucky to subsequently serve under a supervisor who fostered an environment of mutual respect, trust, and transparency.

Leadership interview I was given the chance to interview Hailey Hunt who has a position on student council. She taught me about her position and how she has been able to help others. She has taught me the many sides of being a leader and how it can be quite trying at times. I have found interviewing a leader is very different from researching about a leader.
It is not easy for me to find out that which type of leadership style has appealed to me in leadership. As it has mentioned in one article that “introverts are often reluctant to lead”( Connor and Spark), most of the time I do not have the desire to lead the group and it is not important for me to be a leader in group but when I am in a group it is important for me that what can I do for the group and I try to do my best to do my responsibility because in a group work my function will affect the other member of group as well so I don’t want to harm others because of my negligence.

To be a successful leader I also agree that one needs to have certain characteristic and skills. A leader needs to be able to simple lead, as you have stated. They need to direct and guide people to fulfill shared goals. Communication is also another huge skill. A leader needs to be able to clearly communicate, build relationships, motivate others, inspire others, and be a role model to create a positive work environment and culture that will accept change and innovation in the company.
