People usually notice that I 'm cheerful, kind, thoughtful, and very trustworthy. Traits that aren 't so obvious are that I overthink everything, worrisome, and that I tend to
On September 8, 2008 I arrived to the hospital at six o 'clock in the morning to get induced to have my first daughter due to a blood clot I had in my leg. The nurses first told me to change into a gown. Shortly after they hooked me up to the monitors to hear the baby moving all around. Also to track her cute little heartbeat. Another one was to monitor my contraction and watch them on the screen.
Here it is the day before the biggest game of the biggest game of the season; the coach had us practicing for three hours straight with not water break might I add. After three long and tiring hours of running the same play schemes continuously, coach D decided to call practice. Tomorrow being the biggest game of the season the team decided to stay and shoot around. After about thirty minutes of just shooting the team decided to play a game of around the world. I was winning because I was one of the best shooters on the team, but on the last shot of the game the worst thing happened.
My Comp I class allowed me to develop some of my writing skills that already existed. It also taught me new concepts that I had never learned before. Before this class I never knew how to use APA citation. This is now how I’m citing my last major essay.
According to the SAPA project survey (Condon,2015), my five greatest strengths are being reliable, dependable, trustworthy, honest, and punctual. In this survey their were a lot of questions about myself when it comes to my personality. The questions that I answered consisted of my feelings towards others and how would I deal with certain situations that will occur in my life. After answering those hundred questions, the test proved I was very reliable. In the results it showed three different line graphs showing extraversion, agreeableness, and emotional stability (Condon,2015).
After completing three assessments, I came to the resolution that my Interests Profiler corresponds with a career in veterinary medicine. After researching the assignment, my initial thoughts about what it took to become a veterinarian matched up with the requirements stated. Not only did my interest areas align with this profession, but so did my basic skills and values. These results support my choice to become a veterinarian.
After having such a high rating I'm that trait the rest of mine were fairly equal. My intuitive was my next highest(28%). This surprised me actually because I actually feel like this trait could be higher as my intuition has never really failed me. I've always been able to understand things and notice things about people that others wouldn't or relate to aspects that I've never even gone though but I still know.
The phrase that I agree with is when Madsen wrote “Who looks in answer and says, “Never mind”? You have to be deaf to understand.” Hearing people do not know how Deaf people feel when they really want to participate and want to know what’s going on. And ended up feeling totally left out when someone said “never mind” and “it’s nothing”.
Ever since I was little and even now, I have always loved sports that involve running, including track. In middle school when I was in seventh grade, I wanted to participate in track because I knew I would enjoy the sport. Track started in the spring during seventh grade, and the first couple of practices I thought were challenging because of what little practice I had before track had even started. From this point on, I knew I would have to work hard to reach the goals that I wanted to accomplish, and to even get personal records in running so that I could compete in sectional or even state meets that include top runners from every school. I had also kept in mind on what events I wanted to compete in, which were the one hundred meter dash,
Positive Experiences One of the most positive experiences in my life was when I got my cosmetology license. It was such a great feeling because I had finally accomplished a major goal that I had. It also meant that if I wanted to I could get a job in a hair salon and be a hair stylist. I love hair, nails, and makeup so when I finally got my license to practice cosmetology I was so happy. My second positive experience was during this past semester because it was the first time in my whole college career that I got a 4.0 GPA.
From the time I was born I have been surrounded by sports. My dad tells me that while my mother was giving birth he was watching the Major League Baseball all star game and she made him turn it off. My middle name is Brenden, named after the now retired hall-of-famer, left wing, Brendan Shanahan. I can remember being in love with sports for all my life. For birthday parties when I was younger I would have all of my friends come over and we would play pick up baseball games.
This trait includes characteristics suca tendency to be compassionate and cooperative rather than suspicious
Overworked. That’s the closest word that I could use to describe this week. I feel like this journal is going to be about me just bickering, yet there is some stuff you might want to read about. First of all, I have been sleeping three hours this week because of upcoming midterms, quizzes, and assignments due. I am sleep deprived and mentally drained and as my second year in college I have never had my life drained out of my body like a passing shadow.
