I know how you feel right now? Scared, worried and "why is this happening to me?". Trust me, I have experienced this scare with my father. When he had a brain tumor he only had 20% to live because it was the size of a silver dollar growing in his head. It traumatized me and it still is because I was only 13. I was in 6th grade and everyone knew what I was going through because they took me out of class during his 16 hour operation on that day. Then after a week of not seeing my father, I had the chance of visiting him at John Hopkins and I didnt know what too expect. Under extensive care, I walked to my fathers room, revealing a horrific view. My father had plastic tubes coming from his body, two from his head, one from his neck, one from his stomach, one from his nose as he looked at me with foot-long-stitches, from his right ear to his left ear. He could not talk, he could not sneeze, if he did, he would have died from internal bleeding. His forehead was removed, his left eye was altered and his nose was skinny. But I knew he couldn't talk so I expressed my love by hugging his 85 pound body. Then I was asked to leave by the nurse and walked out. I have never felt so lonely in my life. I wanted to die because my dad was dying and I wanted to be in heaven with him. But my father was a true believer in God. He told my mom that he was not afraid to die because he was going to a good place. Then after two weeks we wheeled him out of the hospital, he began to walk and gained weight but people looked at him differently because he was deformed.
