Changes I have grown academically because I have learned how write essays better. When Ms.DeVries was here she helped me a lot with my writing and gave me a strategy to catch my mistakes quicker. No Red Ink has helped quite a bit. I have been reminded of a lot of grammar rules thanks to No Red Ink and I have found out how to use punctuation properly. I have also gotten better at problem-solving in Algebra 1.
Prompt #2 The religion of the Incas and the Aztecs to me reflects the religion of Ancient Rome. All of these cultures viewed their emperor as a demigod, usually the son of the god of war, and it carries over into their numerous conquests of other nations around them. The Incas’ military forces were commanded by the son of the emperor. These sons would conquer neighboring tribes/kingdoms to appease Inti.
Out of the three activities I participate in at Anson High School, the National Art Honor Society would be one that has impacted me the most. When I was first put into the art class my sophomore year, I tried my hardest to drop the course. The reason being is because I knew for a fact I would not be able to fully enjoy the course with my lack of artistic skills. After being in the class for a month and completing my first art assignment, I realized how much talent I actually do possess. A passion for art was quickly created over the course of time.
My personal Artifact is a baseball my son and I caught at the Giants game. It is white, round, has red stitches, and is smooth when new, but when we caught it it was beat up and the blue writing on it was smeared. A baseball is small and light in size. It can be thrown at speeds up to 100 MPH, or hit at at speeds higher than 100MPH, so when playing the game or watching you should be paying attention at all times. A baseball is made of a rubber or cork center, wrapped in yarn very tight, covered by white leather with red stitching around the out side, making it a very hard ball.
The Pad is a burger place in north Topeka. The Pad has been in the same place for the last forty or so years. It is a medium sized building with its sign out front being a rocket ready to launch. Most days The Pad is not that crowded, but always has a good amount of people there. Many families have been going to The Pad for generations.

Early in my life, I used books as an escape from the harsh reality in front of me. When I was around five years old, I was trapped in an abusive and sheltered household. When the yelling started, I used to hide under my bed and stay very quiet. I would read any book that I could find to keep my mind off what was happening around me. I made myself a safe space under my bed with a light and pillows.
The job would give me the opportunity to innovate new designs and benefits for everyone. I would be able to apply my craftsmanship and my artistic ideas. It would give me the chance to give back to the community and strengthen my career skills in the future. During my job shadow with Ms. Eileen Chalupa on Doane’s Campus I learned how to be creative, come up with my own style of graphic designing, and most importantly to never give up or lose hope on a project that someone has asked for. Her job is the head graphic designer at Doane University. Some questions that I asked her during the job shadow were what are some positive aspects and negative aspects of working as a graphic designer, are the hours flexible for the job and another question I asked was what training did she do to get ready for this type of work and if it required any type of education to complete. One of the reasons she chose this career was because her mother went through the desktop publishing program at Southeast Community
My history as a writer has been a bit of a struggle of slow development. From a young age I had a hard time with spelling and this is still a trouble area for me, even with the help of autocorrect. As I grew in age and as a writer my problematic area became not including enough nitty gritty details. My bad experiences that I recall would always involve the start of writing because I struggle with beginning paragraphs. Also, I tend to use the ending paragraph to just repeat myself, so overall my first and last paragraphs are usually shit.

During the Great War, government propaganda manipulated civilians’ thoughts, which led them to believe that the war was worth fighting for, and thus convinced individuals to go to war. “All Quiet on the Western Front” begins by painting a picture in which a professor teaching Paul and his classmates emphasizes on how the war is in need of men of character and strong will, who will triumph as brave heroes. My special photo is with my best friend Nathalee. In the photo she is giving me a piggy back ride, we are in our Alemany school uniform on the lower baseball field. We both have the biggest smile of friendship on our faces, you are able to tell we are having some fun after school on the fields in our first semester of high school. Nathalee had long brown hair that swept the floor and I had short hair with long slightly pink bangs. It was our first year of high school so Freshman year, we looked like babies.
My feelings toward writing aren 't good nor bad. Writing is something i have had difficulty with in my past. I have no problem brainstorming ideas on what topics to write my assignments on, even if i am given a prompt, but I do have difficulty with sitting down and planning my work. I always find myself getting stuck. So I almost never take the time out to plan out my ideas i come up with.
