Every job has pros and cons, but don’t let the cons turn you away from your dream
When it was all said and done, distribution, transportation, inventory control, and data analysis were fulfilling, but my family needed more. They neede me, so I transitioned into
For my career, I chose statistician. It can get a bit complicated to do, but I am up for a challenge. I feel it will good to have a challenge for work. Statisticians use information and put it in a more organized manner for other people to interpret better and easier. A statistician helps many companies big and small.
After extensive research, I decided on that job being a Physical Therapist Assistant. A Physical Therapist Assistant is one job that I feel is often looked over by many. It is a crucial job in the health-field, and one that plays a pivotal role in assuring successful therapeutic rehabilitation of a patient in need. Witnessing one being able to walk with my assistance through therapy after a surgery, or seeing a child being able to play a sport again after therapy would be truly extraordinary.
It has been twenty years in the making to create myself. I started out sheltered. So to say, hidden from the real world. Being born and raised it out it the middle of a corn field was rough, but not what you would consider rough. It was all about take it or leave, or fix it or do without.
Despite the grief I had to deal with on a daily basis, I loved my job, mainly because I loved ceratopsians, and my job let me work with baby ceratopsians. It was a dream come true. Another plus was that one of my friends from my previous job, Barry, worked at Jurassic World too. I didn't get to see
Professionally Not Professional Young people may be so naïve that they believe that it is professionally okay to send out an email to other professionals that uses slang, bad grammar, or misspelling within it. John Rumery, presenter of “Stop Talking. Start Writing. Get Moving;” told a room of young college students that if they are hoping to seek professional work after college, then they need to have great writing, analytical, and social skills.
Then on Sundays I had to milk cows at 3:30 am and work till 11, then go back out at 2 and feed cows till 4pm. Most people my age can not wake up before 7 am let alone 3:30 am. I would then do this job 5 days a week during the summer. I have gained a lot of great skills from this job, and I am very thankful for the opportunity of growing up on a farm. I have learned to operate a dump truck, front end loader, skid steer, tractor, haying equipment, general mechanic maintenance, management skills, veterinary knowledge, grit, work ethic, and the love for the satisfaction you feel after a hard day of work.
I chose to be an electrician as my future career. I have already achieved my apprentice license and hope to find an apprenticeship program to go ahead and get my journeyman’s and eventually my masters while making good money working for a company. I like the work as an electrician and the pay makes it even better as a career choice. I have been taking classes for this job throughout high school and have done some side jobs on the side involving electricity. The small jobs I have done on my own I have done very well with and really liked doing the work.
For three years, I’ve worked as a file clerk in a company called Dealertrack Technologies. At first it was fun but as time progressed on it was unfulfilling and all I wanted to do was quit. There were coworker’s that was trying to get me in trouble. When you have bad relations with your coworkers, there’s no point in being there.
I have had a lot of obscure jobs in the past, working for an airplane repair facility, working for an answering service in a small backroom of a funeral home, jobs in retail, and now working at a car dealership – at least for now. While it sounds like I have been in the working world at length, it is has only been a little over a decade since I got my first afterschool job. It seems I bring a bout of bad luck with me wherever I go, though my former employers have not a negative word to share about me, a rave review is hard to come by from an out of service number as every place I have worked for has gone out of business. Expiration dates are all part of the deal when it comes to the working world, it is something that I dread, but accept.
During colonial times, Governments sent their men to other countries to take their resources. Today, Governments are held from doing that by law, but have corporations replaced their role? Today 's interconnected world has produced an environment where outsourcing work to more desperate people is the most efficient business model. While Governments can no longer convert small countries into factories, companies like Joe Fresh, Lululemon and Walmart are intent on filling those shoes. The development of a global economy has created many choices for the first world consumer, but what has globalization done to third world workers '?
Overworked. That’s the closest word that I could use to describe this week. I feel like this journal is going to be about me just bickering, yet there is some stuff you might want to read about. First of all, I have been sleeping three hours this week because of upcoming midterms, quizzes, and assignments due. I am sleep deprived and mentally drained and as my second year in college I have never had my life drained out of my body like a passing shadow.
My Worst Job When I was sixteen, one of my middle school friends named Jessica was a shift leader at dunkin she wanted me to work with her for the summer to have some extra money. It seemed like a lot of fun for the first week or so, but it turned out to be the worst job of my life. My job was the front cash register. This was fun I actually enjoyed it
My parents both have stuck with the same jobs for years. Seeing this made me learn that once you have something you’re good at you have to maintain it and even though it may not be the best job you still are able to show how good of a work ethic you
