Being born and raised in Florida it was evident that I was going to experience some beautiful nature as a child. It never really occurred to me though how important nature is and how much of an affect it can have on a person. When I was younger my family used to travel down to the Florida Keys every summer to go fishing and snorkeling. I would look forward to this trip every summer because the drive down to the Keys enabled us to see all of Florida and that was always my favorite part. As I got into my teens though and started playing more sports my summers soon became filled with traveling around the state playing sports rather than fishing and snorkeling down in the keys. I feel like during this time my love for the beautiful State of Florida and all that it had to offer was slowly diminishing. After five years of not being able to experience The Keys and all that it had to offer it was finally a break in my sports schedule and It was time to head down south. The Keys never disappoints as the water was crystal clear and looked like a scene out of a movie. We spent the whole day fishing as a family and got to see many different fish of all shapes in sizes. An experience like that truly makes you appreciate the wildlife that roams this earth. The next memorable part of the trip involved us going snorkeling and checking out the reefs. The reefs are scattered all over the Keys it’s just about finding a spot that you can enjoy. This was my favorite part of the trip as I was able to see beautiful reefs that many don’t get to experience. These reefs were full of bright colors and were home to very unique organisms. I was able to take awesome pictures and snorkel all through the reefs. This was awesome because I was able to enjoy a special moment with
