Personal Narrative: My Trip To Indiana

This summer I was thrilled to be able to go Carmel Indiana. I went to Indiana this summer because that is where my Dad grew up and my grandparents still live there. For two weeks I visited my grandparents in Indiana. Some of the things I did was,go see the Louisville slugger museum, creaking, fishing, biking, swimming at a water park, zip lining, and my favorite activity, go-karting. This was my first time going to go-Karting so I was kind of scared and nervous but most of all very excited. When I first walked in they made us do all of this really boring paperwork for legal reasons, after we finished the paperwork we got to race. The carts we were racing went about 85 miles per hour, pretty fast for a go-Kart. When I got in my cart and started it up and started driving it was almost life changing. I have loved cooking ever since I was young. I think my passion of cooking came from my uncle Dan and my Papa. My Papa and my uncle are very good chefs. They cook all the time for our family and it is some of the best food I have ever tasted, so I think that is mainly the reason for my love of cooking. Another reason for my love of cooking is when I was young my family introduced me to so many different kinds of food so that I was eating salmon at the age of four and calamari at the age of five. Basically, any kind of food you put in front of me I will eat, except for raw vegetables, I hate raw vegetables. I am very well know for one thing that I cook, and that is my guacamole, I don’t know why, but everybody loves it. I love any type of cooking, baking, grilling, sauteing, I do it all. I really love this passion and hope to continue down this road of culinary arts and I might even be a chef or own my own restaurant when I get
