Personal Narrative: My Michigan Hero

There are some people that I can’t imagine living life without. I can’t live life without my friends from school, my blood family, or my dogs. Though I cannot live without any of the entities I just listed, there is someone that I know, this person is special. This person has left a big impact on my life, and his name is Jody. I remember when me, my mom, my sister, and Jody would go to Culvers every week that I was with my mom. Many heros don’t wear capes, metal suits, or exterior underwear. A hero can be defined in many ways, but truly a hero is just someone with special attributes that not many people have. Whenever me, and my sister would fight, he would completely ignore what the fight was about, and he would try to tell us to kill each other with kindness. This shows how little he cared about petty fights, and how much he cared about kindness. He would never tell me or my sister to be nice with the guilt of hypocrisy. He was always nice, unless forced to be firm. He never told us to be nice in a yelling fashion. He always made his statement sound like a side note, not a butt in. He never started an unjust fight. I have known Jody for 3 years, and I have only seen him in one serious fight, and it was because a man killed our cat intentionally.
