Personal Narrative: My Utopia

Utopia: "an imaginary place considered to be perfect or ideal". I think everyone pursues the idea of a perfect life or a perfect place in their head and how they can get there. A utopia can be whatever you want it to be. It could be a place with no rules where you could do whatever your heart desires, or maybe a place where you have everything that you'd ever want. The possibilities are endless. If I had the chance to make my own place, my own land which I designed, it would have unlimited resources, practice isolationism, and have peace among the people.

The world today revolves around one thing, money. People spend their entire lives chasing it, but what if none of that was necessary. What if nothing had a price and everything was obtainable. Nobody would wonder what it would be like to have everything because they can and do. This is one thing I would like my utopia to have. Now you may think my reason behind having unlimited resources is because it is a fantasy of mine and I think everyone including myself would be happier this way, but that's not it at all. I think having this form of economy in which we make our own things and don't need anyone's help is very interesting and I believe it could be very beneficial. If we don't involve ourselves with the outside world there is no reason for my utopia to be involved in any economic conflicts between countries in which case a war might start. This idea of isolationism goes along with the idea of unlimited resources in the fact that we have everything so there is no need to export or import things with other countries. We can focus on what we need and how to make our own place better without having to worry about anybody
